Comments about Manfrotto MKC3-P02 Photo Kit (Gray):
This is my third tripod, the primary reason for this purchase was portability and travel. It fit nicely in my Tumi carry on luggage. If I had purchased this tripod first, It would probably be my only one.
Be sure to review and understand how the camera mounts to the stand before using. There is a quick release plate that (screws) mounts to your camera. This plate allows you to slide your camera into the tripod head. It's designed for quick release so you want to learn how it works before you put your camera on the stand.

I bought this because it is small enough to put in my carry on luggage..I will probably only use it indoors where there is atable floor and no wind. Very light, but not really stable. For the price it's a good deal.

Comments about Manfrotto MKC3-P02 Photo Kit (Gray):
Definitely the cheapest in Monfrotto's line, but it is built well. For a compact and inexpensive tripod it does the job, and does it pretty well.

Comments about Manfrotto MKC3-P02 Photo Kit (Gray):
before i can afford a real pro tripod, this one gives me a good deal of satisfaction. Light and compact, i enjoy very much working with it.I use it mostly indoors, i am not sure it would be well suited for outdoors rough weather conditions. It is a lightweight. Great for stills and portraits. Ballhead is pretty smooth.

Comments about Manfrotto MKC3-P02 Photo Kit (Gray):
This tripod is better than I thought it would be! I found this tripod in a store while traveling and couldn't pick it up but good thing because it was cheaper on B&H. Its super small and pretty light. Very easy to setup and breakdown and holds my D90 with a 18-200mm lens solid as a rock. I was buying this as just a 'travel' tripod but I honestly don't think I need any other tripod. This one will be great for everything I do. If you're not sure, two of my friends who have now seen my tripod are currently ordering one of their own.
