Comments about Manfrotto MK394-PD Photo Kit:
Strong and stable, great value for the money. I was disappointed to find out after receiving item that there is not a quick release for the camera. You must tighten or release a screw from the camera each time you mount or remove from tripod. I find this cumbersome and would look for a tripod with quick relase next time. It is for this reason that I would not recommend to a friend.

Comments about Manfrotto MK394-PD Photo Kit:
I took this out for the first time to shoot pictures of NYC in the dark a couple of weeks ago. I had it out on a very windy promenade and even with its light weight, it was able to hold the camera still enough to get amazing photos. Now I can't wait to bring it on vacation with me. This is a great option if you're beginning and want something sturdy but lightweight enough for travel.

As a beginner, I bought 2 different tripod, but returned them. For the price I am100% satisfied. This tripod is lightweight and yet I feel safe knowing my camera is on it. The construction is easy to use and I feel it will do the job for years to come. A must have with a very reasonable price tag.
