The TVee Model 25 Soundbar Speaker and Wireless Subwoofer from Boston Acoustics provides high-quality digital audio in a hassle-free design. The slim soundbar is perfectly sized for flat-panel televisions of 32" or larger, and connects to the TV with a single cable. This eliminates the need for unsightly satellite speakers and messy wires. The soundbar provides digitally optimized virtual surround sound to provide an immersive experience, while the wireless down-firing subwoofer provides enhanced bass from anywhere in the room.
The soundbar has a digital input and Dolby digital decoding for a superior surround sound experience. Various modes are provided for movies and music to deliver the best audio for a particular application. The system even offers a 3.5mm stereo mini aux input for connecting audio devices such as MP3 players. The soundbar is controlled by your current television remote, further reducing clutter and confusion.

Comments about Boston Acoustics TVee Model 25 Soundbar Speaker and Wireless Subwoofer:
Sound is great, but the volume control stinks! The distance the remote can be from the sound bar is 8 to 10 feet. Beyond that it will aggravate you because it is a hit or miss. More of a miss. Purchased two of these, gave one to my son. His has the same issue. Point the sound bar exactly were you will sit because it will not work towards the sides or beyond 10'.

We needed a quick fix to support the sound system in Mom's large TV room. This not only did the trick, but it is actually a very nice total surround sound system on its own.

Comments about Boston Acoustics TVee Model 25 Soundbar Speaker and Wireless Subwoofer:
Bought this BA Model 25 from [@] for [$]. It is the model 25 not the older one. It is a good addition to a flat screen TV because the sound from all flat screens is weak. Not 5.1 and not as good as a real surround sound system but it does sound very good. The bass is nice with punch and the dynamic range is full. The future that lets you program this to use with your remote is easy to set up and a great future. 5 stars for that. No need for multiple remotes, I programed it for my cable remote. Someone else pointed out that you should turn your TV volume down / off so you only hear this unit. Would defiantly recommend for the price I paid 5 stars @ [$]. Not sure about it for [$]. I must question others who has issues setting this up? Took longer to unpack then to program and get working. I mounted on the wall and that took time but very easy overall.

Out of the box simple setup. Rich sound and looks great. If your modem is anywhere near it your wifi signal could be disrupted throught the house as mine is...looking for solution.

Comments about Boston Acoustics TVee Model 25 Soundbar Speaker and Wireless Subwoofer:
I use this to replace the speakers on my 60" Sharp Aquos. The mounting holes are not placed 16", otherwise you could just drive a couple of nails into two studs to mount the sound bar. Instead, you need to drill two holes into the sheet rock and insert plastic anchors (which are not provided) and get screws with large heads (which are also not provided). It would have been much easier if the mounting holes were 16" apart. Do not put the woofer on top of a deep pile carpet, as it muffles the sound. Put it on top of a book or thin piece of plywood. Apart from this, it has a good sound.

Comments about Boston Acoustics TVee Model 25 Soundbar Speaker and Wireless Subwoofer:
- Speakers used with a wall mounted Samsung TV in Kitchen/Dining area. - Speakers mounted above the TV, about 7 " from the ceiling.- Used the optical audio input to maximize performance.- Fills the room with all the undistorted sound I could possible want.- Subwoofer is okay...no outstanding deep bass but enough to sound good. Only 6.5" speaker in the Sub.- Cannot detect significant difference when switching between Movie/Music DSP audio modes. This was a little disappointing and resulted in the 4 star rating. Just not alot of "Wow" factor. Good clean sound that is not obtrusive...naturally blends with video on general T.V. usage. Music in nicely balanced when listening to Pandora Music stations on the TV, Again not a wide sound field, but pleasant. Maybe effects are weakened by mounting above the T.V.. Speakers reliably activate as soon as T.V. is turned on. Unit finally learned the Samsung remote after many attempts...process is not user friendly and the directions are not clear. Distance of remote to speakers is critical at app. 30" during the teach procedure.- I have Bose Sound Mate computer speakers on different TV and find them just as good...would have used them except I needed wall mounting.- Have a wireless network in house and had no issues with the wireless subwoofer not locking in or dropping out.- Marginally worth the [$], but in the top 10% of soundbars I have auditioned.

Comments about Boston Acoustics TVee Model 25 Soundbar Speaker and Wireless Subwoofer:
I hired a techician to install my new Samsung 40" LCD LED wall mounted TV, it is wonderful. I had looked forward to enchanced sound via the Boston Sound Bar Model 25. After several attempts the technician finally gave up on getting the system to work properly. After following the instructions painstakingly several times we were never able to get the volume up past mid level. Tech support was not available on a Saturday so rather than with deal with added expense & another appointment I shipped the product back [...]Very diappointing experience with Boston Acoustics.
