The Universal Carrying Case from Sony is an affordable and roomy way to carry around your 17.3" (43.9cm) laptop. The bag holds a wide variety of items that are divided into compartments that separate the computer from collateral files and accessories. The padded laptop compartment is designed to isolate your laptop from the rest of the contents of the case and is supplied with a touch fastened retention strap to prevent your laptop from sliding around.
The bag is made from a polyester/polyurethane combination and carried by an adjustable shoulder strap. In addition, two top carry handles are also provided. At a mere 2.04 lb, this is a light bag that can also be fitted over your luggage trolley by using the provided trolley sleeve located on the back of the bag.
Outside the main laptop storage area are two zippered pockets that will hold your support gear such as cables and adapters. Both of these pockets have smaller pockets to help you arrange your equipment. You'll have 2 mesh sleeves, 2 pen loops, 2 phone/MP3 pouches and a touch fastened "valuables pouch". Inside, there is a divider that separates your computer from your documents, files and folders.

I just recently bought this bag but can tell it's built to last. This is a professional looking bag, no plastic materials to be found and strong stitching/seams. There are plenty of extra pockets and compartments to stow anything else you need. What I appreciate the most is the inner lining of this bag. It's a soft, almost velvet-like material that won't be harsh on your laptop's casing. I am using a VPCF2190X (the 3D F, as some call it) with this case, and since the entire outside of the unit is scratch-prone, glossy black, the material is a plus. Also, my laptop fits almost perfectly in this case, so consider this one if you're getting an F2.
