I'm really happy with this battery. I don't need to carry my laptop charger with me anymore. Laptop is powered for about 8 hours now. I wish the battery stayed locked on a bit better, though.

I found the VGP-BPSC24 VAIO Extended Sheet Battery for SA Series Laptops gave me the battery life I needed for long flights and airport use. I would recommend it if you your needs are to run without AC power for an extended time.

I bought sony laptop with extended sheet. After installing i am not able to make out if its installed properly. No where they have specified any trouble shooting mechanism. Never expected such poor service from sony. They specify 15hrs its totally misleading

I ordered two sheet batteries with my new S series computer and I am more than satisfied with them. My S series is remarkably thin and I was worried the extended batteries would add so much weight and bulk I would never want to use them. Fortunatly, they were thin and almost unnoticable when attached. They even looked good on my silver laptop. They are also very easy to attach and deattach. Overall very much worth the money especially if doubling your battery life is important.

I bought this sheet battery for my month-old Sony VPCSC laptop. I wanted it so that my computer would last just over a full day of classroom and programming work. Sony advertises this accessory as follows, "Get up to 15 hours total combined battery life* (double the standard battery life) with this extended sheet battery designed for use with VAIO SA, SB or SC Series laptops..." I have not seen anywhere near this number; even when using integrated graphics, medium screen brightness, and low processor load (Web browser, text editor, etc.). With only the integrated battery installed, Windows 7 reports approximately 7 hours remaining on a full battery charge. But with both batteries installed and fully charged, Windows never reports above 10 hours. I also observed these numbers after several discharge-charging cycles for both batteries, which is sometimes necessary with lithium-ion batteries to reach full capacity. Additionally, Windows automatically uses the the extended battery first (until about 10% remains) before switching to the internal battery. I've monitored the percentage (%) remaining which seems to decrease very rapidly while using the extended battery as compared to the integrated battery. Needless to say, I am very unimpressed with this accessory and would not recommend anyone spend $120+ and a lot of extra carrying weight on this product.
