I doubt if I ever use this case in deep water but I would say it would be great for a scuba diver. I ride motorcycles and bought this to keep down the wind noise mainly.
My complaint....what ever sound the built in micro-phone picks up the case will muffle it and then that sound gets amplified. Probably setting the mic sensitivity very low will help. I will further test it. But all in all I'm happy with it and it's water proof.

Used both in a pool and the ocean to depths of only a few feet. Locks out water. Easy to use. Doesn't have a way to hit the hidden bluetooth button but you wouldn't really be using your phone in the water anyways. Got caught in the rain with the camera mounted to my bike. Popped it into the case and mounted the case to the bike. Kept riding without a problem.

This easily keeps my contour GPS camera dry as a bone! Its very easy to install the camera and even easier to use. It is 'buoyant' but just enough to keep the camera just floating.

I primarily use my camera with the bike helmet mount and the weatherproof case works for this, however it adds a little too much weight to be comfortable also the case is very difficult to get back off the mount.

The buttons function correctly and the magnet in the record button works although it doesn't look like it would do anything.

It also seems like the case latch should lock shut rather than just be held via tension.

Although I haven't had the opportunity to use this in a wet situation yet I see no reason it won't work. The camera fit is perfect with no play to bounce around. Putting the camera in the enclosure is quick and easy. The case slides onto the same rails as the camera plus has a 1/4-20 bolting location on the case bottom.

Perfect accessory for your Contour GPS. I love how light it is and how easy it is to use. Power button works flawlessly. Case holds camera securely. T-Rail mounting slots have individual locks on them. Plus, a built in universal camera mount on the bottom. Even if it does somehow come unmounted, it floats! Couldn't be happier with it.
