By eliminating glare and shadows from your LCD screen, this viewfinder lets you better focus your image even in full overhead sunlight or heavily shaded environments. This unit will provide full coverage of an LCD screen up to 3.0" (7.62 cm) diagonally with a standard (4:3) aspect ratio. The included Hoodman Loupe for secure mounting is easy to dismount with a few simple twists of the handy thumbscrews.

Really helps with critical focus on DSLR. Bought for my 60D, but have seen it used on a 7D and it really brings up the details on those short depth of field shots. Only suggestion I would make is to find a cushion/eyecup for the eyepiece, as it will begin to make your eye socket sore after a few hours of use.

Quality is awesome. It's really great in obtaining focus pulls in bright sunlight conditions. The only negative is that due to the magnify, a visual lag is seen through the view finder almost like a progressive lag on some camera's. Although the magnification can't get away from this is, it does give you a headache after a while. Overall great product.
