I purchased this cable in order to project from my smart phone (micro HDMI)using my Optoma Pica Projector.
This particular cable is of superior quality as the end-connectors securely fit in both my phone and the Pica projector. Note-the manufacturer of the cable is the same as projector.
Two noteworthy drawbacks of the cable include:
- placement of large and relative heavy components at each end of the cable,
- as well as the inflexible 3" cable due to hard plastic cable covering, dramatically limits the stability of both the relatively light phone/projector. Use of a portable tripod is not possible due to the imbalance created by weight and inflexible cable.
