The Induro AKP2 Adventure Series Tripod w/ 3-Way Pan Head Kit includes a three-section tripod and a three-way pan head. The tripod extends to 67.8" high and features aluminum legs and a cross-braced magnesium-alloy chassis.
The pan head's three handles allow high-precision independent adjustments of pan and two directions of tilt. The tilt handles feature a unique folding design to make the unit more compact for easy transport. The head includes a snap-in quick-release plate to enable rapid changes in camera setup.
The grooved center column is reversible to facilitate low-angle shooting. It features a spring-loaded counterweight hook at its bottom end so you can add weight for more stability in windy conditions. The center-column lock is oversized to add vibration-reducing structural support.
The AKP2 tripod chassis features an integrated bubble level and a threaded accessory mount socket that lets you add Israeli arms and other mounting devices directly onto the tripod. Three-position leg-angle locks provide stability for the positioning of the independently adjustable legs. The legs extend outward to a maximum angle of 80°, which allows you to shoot with stability from only 12.1" off the ground. The legs feature a double-keyed tubing design to prevent rotation and to provide extra strength. Leg sections lock with a flip of the quick-lock levers.

Comments about Induro AKP2 Adventure Series Tripod w/ 3-Way Pan Head Kit:
My photography consists of mostly night shots. My old tripod was an old, plastic, flimsy cheap $50 tripod. I decided on this model because I wanted lightweight, but manueveralability. I got it with this model. The pan head was very easy to work with & easy to position in any angle I was looking for. I liked the increment markings, which helped me in lining up a level shot.
I the only issues I had were.
The level was hard to see since it was directly under the camera plate & found it difficult to check out to see if I was directly level on an accurate scale.
Being a 3 way pan, when you turn the camera to its side, I found it hard to pan up & down to achieve the shot without having to lower the rear leg down to get the upward angle I was looking for. (keeping in mind, I've only used this tripod 2 times now, & probably haven't learned all the tricks to it yet).
All in all it was a great purchase. Its first shoot was a 7 hour Star Trails shoot in the San Francisco hills. It performed great, even as the wind picked up gradually thru the wee hours of the evening/morning, it never moved. My old tripod would have done a square dance in that wind.
