The Bower Professional LED Light is a cool-running on-camera video light that lets you adjust both intensity and color temperature to match the scene in front of you. Using a standard shoe mount to attach to your camera, the light's native 6500K beam can be corrected to 5600K or softened with the attached fold-out filters. Two barndoors are also included, letting you control the light even further. The unit is powered by Sony 'L' batteries, with an NP-F750 type battery and charger included.

Comments about Bower Professional LED Light:
At first I really liked this light. No battery pack to wear on the belt. Also it uses the same battery as my camera. The problem is that when the light is at full power it emits a high pitched noise that interferes with the sound on my camera. When I started editing the video the noise can be heard! it's not coming in through the mic either. Even when I unplug the external mic it still can be heard! Must be the frequency of the LED light.

Comments about Bower Professional LED Light:
This light has a powerful beam and is convenient because it runs on an onboard battery (which is why I purchased it). The problem is it's spread is too narrow so using it ENG style for interviews and b-roll leaves you with a very uneven light pattern, hot on the top, darker on the bottom and sides. I had to return to my old LED light (with cable to a waist battery pack) for an ENG style interview and shoot because of the narrow spread. The powerful beam could come in handy, however, for shooting something in low light at a distance (for example on a tripod and framed correctly).

Comments about Bower Professional LED Light:
I use this for a video light for weddings and other on location shoots. Very powerful light. The battery is great because it's the same as for my Sony camera. It adds a little more weight to the camera, but I don't have to have to carry a big 12v battery on my belt. Great that the light can be dimmed too.

Comments about Bower Professional LED Light:
Super light at the super price! The charged battery which goes in the complete set with light suffices at 4 hours a video shooting. The small charge of a battery doesn't influence brightness of light. Light either shines very well, or doesn't shine at all. Surprises its brightness which can be regulated. Very bright light, approaches for all professionals. Filters allow to change warmth of light on necessary, therefore colors in with removed by you video will be always natural!
