Mola's unique patented reflector design permits you to get more quality out of less light. Mola's well-deserved reputation for maximum efficiency allows these reflectors to capture all paths of light, regardless of direction as they leave the flash tube and redirect them toward the subject. This metal Mola Speed Ring for Alien Bee is compatible with Alien Bee flash heads and all Mola reflectors.

Works as advertised but installing takes about 20-30 minutes. Expensive but necessary.

I needed to be able to use my Alien bees with the Mola Setti and this was my missing piece!

Comments about Mola Speed Ring for Alien Bee:
Pretty straightforward... when this is installed on the Mola, the alienbees mounts snug. Would be cool if other alternatives were available to prevent them from gouging the price of this simple piece of metal...
At least make it black to match the mola if it has to be this expensive

Comments about Mola Speed Ring for Alien Bee:
I use this to attach a Mola Demi to a Paul C. Buff AB800. It is an unremarkable speed ring that does its job reliably.
Buying the necessities for the Mola drives up the total cost of ownership. It would be nice if these smaller accessories were subsidized or otherwise less expensive. Perhaps the barrier to ownership that the cost creates reserves Mola ownership to successful working professionals.

It's a speed ring, what else can I say? I'm giving 4 stars because of the price.

What to say? This is a utility piece that works as designed. I think its a little pricy for what it is - but what the hey - there're no options.
