International Orders*The Marshall Electronics V-R171X-DLW-DT 17" Dual Link / Waveform Monitor (Desktop) has a 17” LCD panel, a waveform monitor, and a vectorscope and produces high-quality images at a resolution of 1920 x 1200. The monitor offers a brightness of 300 cd/m2 and contrast ratio of 500:1. It features a 10-bit error-free video path and supports 3G capability.
With multi-mode function, the monitor splits the screen into 4 quadrants and displays audio bars, a waveform monitor, vectorscope, and live video at the same time. The Waveform monitor allows for viewing digital video components in YUV/RGB color space displayed in parade or overlay mode. In addition, the waveform monitor offers facility to view waveform in different aspect ratios, positions, and transparency options. With built-in vectorscope, you can view X-Y plot of 2 signals and observe the color gamut (subset of colors) in real time. Additionally, the vectorscope displays signals in various sizes, positions, and transparency options.
The V-R171X-DLW-DT monitor uses 16 40-segment tri-color audio meters with user changeable reference levels to de-embed and display up to 16 audio channels. In-monitor display enables on-screen text and tally indication, which can be controlled locally or remotely via support for protocols like SL, NVISION, Image Video, and MEI (Marshall Electronics) tally control systems, remote firmware update via RS-485, tri-color hard and soft tally, and Safety Marker configurations. The dual link monitor incorporates Closed Captioning Decoding in EIA608/EIA708 caption standards to display additional text or information to viewers who wish to access it.
Equipped with pixel-to-pixel mode, the V-R171X-DLW-DT LCD monitor displays images in their native resolution by avoiding the internal scaling function. The Blue Only mode switches off red and green scan guns to produce images made only from a blue scan gun, and the Monochrome mode displays a grayscale picture by disabling all colors.
The multi-configurable OSD (on-screen display) allows you to display the embedded time code and an embedded audio presence indicator on the screen. In addition, the OSD provides closed caption presence indication for the EIA608/EIA708 captions. Four user-programmable buttons provide fast access to various settings and functions such as aspect ratio, monochrome mode, and color temperature. The V-R171X-DLW-DT LCD monitor supports SDI (serial digital interface), HD-SDI, 3G-SDI and Dual Link SDI, and RS422/RS485 interfaces.
