This is my go for film. 160ISO fast enough for dusk, and not so fast for bright light to use a multitude of ND filters on my camera. Renders skin nicely. I use it for every thing. Good film, but hard to get your hands on

This film is good, but it is hard to find it in stock. I was only able to buy 5 rolls when I needed 20.

Comments about Kodak Professional Portra 160 Color Negative Film (120 Roll Film):

I recently purchased an old Pentax 645, a camera that I've wanted since they came out way back when. My plan was to use my D800e first and confirm the settings that I wanted on a particular shot and then bring out the 645 and shoot a frame or two. I've only had one roll developed so far, but I'm very happy with the results. I had one or two missed out of the roll, but the majority look great. And the misses were my fault, not the film's.

The grain is beautiful and smooth and the colors were very natural.

I'm enjoying my trip back to the prehistoric film days better than I expected.

Renders neutral colors very well, fast film but not supper grainy. The actual film plastic is a bit thin though.

I love the look of this product. Skin tones are superb. Color are beautifully saturated. Just watch your exposure. I have come across the odd roll which when over exposed casts a slight green.

I have a Mamiya RZ67 with me for awhile. Portra 160 VC used to be my favorite film since it renders the warm tone very well. Kodak made the right move when they came out with this. You won't be dissapointed!

Comments about Kodak Professional Portra 160 Color Negative Film (120 Roll Film):

Just as the name suggests, the Kodak Portra films are the best for portraits and any work where accurate color is the most desirable trait for a photo shoot. The skin tones are not only highly accurate and natural but smooth and flattering. Highlight details are beautiful as well, providing a significant advantage over most digital.

                                -Silk like texture.

-Vivid, saturated and a well balanced array of colors.

-A good film type for a mixed ranged of subject matter including portraits or objects blending into their backgrounds.
