This Wireless Remote Temperature and Humidity Sensor from Meade is a 3-channel LCD Display temperature & humidity sensor for use with all Meade weather stations except the TE109NL-M, RCW33W-M and TE278W-M. This TS33C-M remote sensor transmits up to 100 feet / 30 meters on one of three transmission channels. The built in LCD display shows the temperature and humidity in either user-selected Celsius or Fahrenheit. The indoor/outdoor humidity range is 25-90%. It is wall mountable. Two user-supplied AA batteries are required. The suggested operating temperature range is -40 to 122&dge; F / -40 to +50° C when using lithium type batteries.
Note! Range is dependent on base station pairing and environmental factors. Please consult your weather station documentation for maximum range recommendations.

Comments about Meade Wireless Remote Temperature and Humidity Sensor:
I buy the base station that came with one remote unit for outside and buy one additional remote to monitor humidity in the basement. With both remote placed deside base unit, humidity read 5% higher on both remote . Remote read up to 8 % higher than deshumidifier readout. With lithium battery, outside temp work well down to minus 24 celcius last winter. No confidence in humidity readout , range limited at 95% max.

Comments about Meade Wireless Remote Temperature and Humidity Sensor:
I order a base unit with remote for outside, and an extra remote to monitor humidity in the basement.
I place the 2 remote units deside the base unit, the temperature is about the same, but humidity readout is 5% higher on both remote unit compare to base. The humidity on the base looks more accurate. Humidity readout on base is about the same as the air exchanger controler near by.
The remote unit read at least 5 % higher. Lithium battery needed for outside unit to work in low temp. at -12 F still working

Comments about Meade Wireless Remote Temperature and Humidity Sensor:
I monitor weather ( work/play/etc ) and this is great - remote temp and humidity. Works really well with base station which also picks up barometric pressure .Came in handy esp with " Sandy " passing thru - picked up the first hints , the very low ( 27.9 ) pressure and more , and how she lingered for days .Highly recommended .
