I am new into photography & was wanting a 2nd battery as a backup since I have been doing a lot of sports photography. I am sceptical of buying cheap aftermarket batteries but, Canon brand batteries are so expensive. I stumbled upon B&H by accident & found this battery at less than half price of everywhere else I had looked. It is identical to the battery that came with my camera. I don't use flash that often so I have been able to get around 1000 pictures and still have some battery left. I am very happy with my purchase & now will look to B&H first before I buy any photography equipment in the future.
