In order to update firmware on my GF2, it requires using a fully charged Panasonic approved battery, not a [*] knock-off. Since I have hacked my GF2, many firmware updates are needed pretty frequently, so it was worth the purchase for me (to avoid bricking my camera). It was even cheaper here than on [@] when I ordered it.

This is the second battery for my Panasonic GX1. It charges, it fits, it powers the camera. What more is there to ask for.

This is the battery for my Panasonic G3. It's a great little battery. Only issue I have with it is that since it is for a Micro 4/3 camera, the battery doesn't last as long as batteries for my Nikon camera. Always carry a spare battery with you. That is why I bought this one.

Bought this as a backup battery so far it works good the only downside is the low capacity of this battery....gets drained fast but wanted to be able to see the charge remaining and since this is not possible with non Panasonic batteries I had no other alternatives

This is straight forward. Use OEM battery for the GX-1 and not third parties and the battery works as it should.

Just purchased a Lumix GX-1. With a fully charged battery, 250-350 pictures seems to be the limit in the manner I shoot (Raw + Jpeg files 35% flash use). An additional battery is a needed accessory. THis rechaves quickly on is an easy swap

I use this in my Gx1. I get a decent amount of pictures before it needs recharging but I always want to get more so I have a spare one which I reccommend if you are taking a lot of pictures at one time. Rechrging time is average.

It's a battery. It powers the camera. It works. Not much more to say. Would have liked it to be cheaper, though.
