The black and silver iHome iDM3 Sleek Stereo Speaker System for iPad, iPhone & iPod offers stereo sound for your favorite tunes from your iPad, iPhone, iPod and other audio devices. It offers a contemporary space-saving pyramid design that fits anywhere and features a stunning presence.
Going beyond its good looks, you'll find that the iDM3 provides high fidelity sound as well. Stereo speakers housed in specially designed high-end Reson8 speaker chambers offer astoundingly clear, rich audio while EXB circuitry offers extended bass for your favorite tunes. A built-in audio cable lets you connect to any audio device that has a headphone jack, stores tidily on the bottom of the unit.
Since the iDM3 is battery powered, you can use it at home or on the go. Additional conveniences are a backlit power button, integrated storage for an audio cable, and a stand to allow you either vertical or horizontal positioning of your audio device.

A great and inexpensive little speaker system perfect for the beach, a backyard, a cookout, pool, camping or anywhere. It is powered by batteries but still delivers a nice sound from your iPad, iPhone, or iPod. Yes there are bigger, better sound docks out there but they cost more and basically do the same thing. This is the best value.

I use this with a Tascam pcm stereo recorder (which has a terrible, small speaker onboard) to play back guitar loops and lessons. The sound is surprisingly good for such an inexpensive unit.
Sounds decent with my iPod as well.
