Essential accessory for my wife's Sony Walkman.
Keeps the Walkman charged when not in use. We have it plugged in next to a Sony boombox stereo,
so if we want to listen to the songs on the Walkman, it simply plugs in the front with a mini stereo cable. On vacation we take a couple mini Sony speakers that plug in with the same mini stereo cable to listen to our music in hotel rooms. For downloading music and editing, the dock connects to a computer with the Walkman's USB cable. Unfortunately you can't do both AC charging and downloading since there's only one USB connection on the dock. Compact, typical high quality Sony design.

I set up one of these on my desk at work and have some small computer speakers plugged in to the line out port. So I can listen to tunes now and then. It does not get really loud with my small speakers but it is loud enough and sounds good. At the end of the day it is all charged and ready for the drive home.
