The Dot Line Cable Release Extension is a simple, but useful tool. Made from stainless steel, it's built to last. The extension is compatible with any standard cable release, adding a little extra length when you need it or for fitting an air release to a recessed fitting. Because most digital cameras do not have a threaded release socket, this extensiion is not compatible with most digital cameras.

Comments about Dot Line Cable Release Extension:
Shoot a 4x5 Toyo. Lots of shooting on the coast and windy areas. Took a while to thread cable release into lens shutter release. Just one more thing between me and my shot. These little cables saves me lots of time in set up and saves the threads on my lens where I usually attach the cable release. Love these things. Bought one for each of my lenses.

Comments about Dot Line Cable Release Extension:
Can't really go wrong, can you? Extensions are required with fidgety shutters, cramped quarters and mechanically-shaky shutters. The flexible ones outrank the 90-degree rigid extensions for versatility. My older Angulon in a very old and somewhat shaky Linhof shutter cannot stand much more screwing-in-and-out of the shutter release, so I leave the extension permanently attached.
