The black Stile Collection: Agile 1 Sling from Manfrotto is a functional compromise between a backpack and shoulder bag. For the shooter who likes versatility, this may be the perfect bag for you. With its padded, comfortable strap, you normally wear it on your back. However, when you're ready to shoot, just swing it forward to the front, unzip the lower compartment, grab your camera that is held with attached lens in shooting position, take your shot, re-zip the bag, swing it behind you and move on. Unlike a traditional backpack, you won't have to stop, take the pack off, retrieve your gear and shoot. The Agile 1 provides the happy medium with which to both tote and shoot in one fell swoop - in one swift motion.
Externally, the bag is made from a durable water-repellent nylon. That makes it a great shooter's bag since you won't have to worry about getting caught in a summer's rain or winter's snow. The back of the bag even has connections for strapping on a standard-sized tripod. The back strap is wide and comfortable with an additional under arm quick release strap for additional support. The side of bag has a zippered access pocket from which you can easily extract your camera with mounted lens when you "swing" the bag forward when you want to shoot.
Internally, the bag is divided in two halves. The top half is smaller and is for personals such as glasses, book, phone or MP3 player. The bottom half is the main compartment and holds your DSLR with attached lens as well as 1-2 additional lenses within the movable, padded dividers. The dividers provide a convenient way to configure the bag to suit your equipment needs. In addition, you'll have a separate area in which to nest your Manfrotto Pocket Tripod.
The Agile 1 is a "run-and-go" type bag that is designed for the person who is constantly on the move and needs a bag that provides both secure storage and rapid access to the gear. Manfrotto warrants the bag against any manufacturing defects.

Lightweight and compact. It looks good and carries well. Easy to get to my camera and it feels like it carries my equipment without adding to the weight.

Comments about Manfrotto Stile Collection: Agile 1 Sling (Black):
I purchased this bag for my boyfriend specifically for a trip to Washington, D.C. He didn't want to carry a lot of his equipment around since we would be on foot most of the day and this bag turned out to be extemely comfortable and the perfect amount of space for his camera, tripod, and another lens as well as all the necessary objects I didn't want to carry myself (keys, wallets, water bottle, etc.)! I will probably purchase the next model/size up for my boyfriend though because it looked a little small on his frame and he is 5'11" and 180 lbs. The size was a better fit for me and I am 5'3" and 117 lbs.

I am an nineteen year old college student who is majoring in photography. I am giving the Agile 1 Sling a 5/5 star rating because it suits my every need as an landscape photographer with an DSLR, Tripod, and four lenses. The bag snugly chambers my canon 450 d dslr and provides room for all four of my lenses! Another important feature is the bag's tripod compatibility. It's tripod strap works very well and my tripod attacks with out any hassle. When I'm ready to shoot i toss my Agile 1 Sling in the back of my car. Whenever i see something i want to photograph i can simply pull over, pop the trunk, grab the sling, approach the scene and get on to shooting! I would only not recommend this bag to someone who has two dslrs or plans on taking more than 5 lenses into the field. Best- Jason Krinsky

Comments about Manfrotto Stile Collection: Agile 1 Sling (Black):
The Bag looks great, very nice. But when it comes to wearing, it sits to stiff on the back. The buckle was not required, so unbucking and unzipping takes to long. I like the opening on the top as well as the side pockets, but the opening for the cameras is quite tight.
The only opening to access the bottom compartment (80% of the inner space) is through the camera opening, so to access your equipment, the camera needs to be removed and in some cases even the dividers or splitters and putting them back in a nightmare since the velcro sticks very hard (which is good) but they always stick before getting them in the right place.
I was never never satisfied with the dividers arrangement, so I decided to send it back for a refund. Know I have eyes on a Case Logic backpack that runs a little more expensive, but accesses look great and the camera is easy to get to and the equipment can be also access without having to remove the camera.
