The black Stile Collection: Agile V Sling from Manfrotto is slightly larger than the Agile 1 version. The Agile V is also a functional compromise between a backpack and shoulder bag. For the shooter who likes versatility, this may be the perfect bag for you. With its padded, comfortable strap, you normally wear it on your back. However, when you're ready to shoot, just swing it forward to the front, unzip the lower compartment, grab your camera that is held with attached lens in shooting position, take your shot, re-zip the bag, swing it behind you and move on. Unlike a traditional backpack, you won't have to stop, take the pack off, retrieve your gear and shoot. The Agile V provides the happy medium with which to both tote and shoot in one fell swoop - in one swift motion.
Externally, the bag is made from a durable water-repellent nylon. That makes it a great shooter's bag since you won't have to worry about getting caught in a summer's rain or winter's snow. The back of the bag even has connections for strapping on a standard-sized tripod. The back strap is wide and comfortable with an additional under arm quick release strap for additional support. The side of the bag has a zippered access pocket from which you can easily extract your camera with mounted lens when you "swing" the bag forward when you want to shoot.
Internally, the bag is divided in two halves. The top half is smaller and is for personals such as glasses, book, phone or MP3 player. The bottom half is the main compartment and holds your DSLR with attached lens as well as 2-3 additional lenses within the movable, padded dividers. The dividers provide a convenient way to configure the bag to suit your equipment needs. In addition, you'll have a separate area in which to nest your Manfrotto Pocket Tripod.
The Agile V is a "run-and-go" type bag that is designed for the person who is constantly on the move and needs a bag that can provide both secure storage and rapid access to the gear. Manfrotto warrants the bag against any manufacturing defects.

I bought this bag as an alternative for the larger Canon backpack. It is well-made, sturdy, and comfortable to wear on an all-day hike. I like that it is a sling bag vs. backpack, and the interior dividers are easy to move around. It is smaller than expected though -- it was very tight to fit a 5D Mk II with 24-105 lens attached and two other medium sized lenses (100mm macro and an f/4 zoom). The cross-strap was not too useful so I tucked it in the (tiny) side pocket so it was out of the way. The top compartment is the most frustrating part of the bag -- you have to open a flat buckle, velcro snap and two zippers to access the top. The buckle is totally unnecessary, and becomes a nuisance if you frequently open the top. The bag is waterproof, however, which is great - I walked around in the rain for several hours and my equipment was safe and dry.

My old bag was meant for an old Konica FT-1 camera that I have kicking around and now I need a bigger bag for a Nikon D90. I was looking for a sling bag that fit a Tripod, SB-700, D90, an 18-105 lens and an 80-200 lens while still having plenty of room for other things if need be. Without a doubt this bag is able to easily hold all my equipment and I could probably manage to squeeze in another 2-3 lenses.
This bag is designed with space, and comfort in mind. I've walked around with it for a few hours in total thus far and barely noticed I had it on despite all the weight.
The Bad, like the previous reviewer stated the access is a little bit on the small side for the main camera compartment but it isn't something that isn't terrible.
There is a large buckle where half is metal and half is plastic. Why not make it all metal if you were going for that, and what is the point of it? The same compartment has two zippers on top and velcro underneath the buckle. It seems like triple redundancy here. I guess the bag won't open from the top by accident unless you forget to zip, velcro, and buckle it up.
While it has a TON of storage space for gear, it does not have much pocket space for knick knack stuff (i.e. lens cleaning stuff, battery charger, lots of batteries, cables, manuals, lens caps) There is one very small pocket on the top labeled "Pocket" and a small non expanding pocket on the side that barely fits what I need in it.
All in all, this is a great sling that has lots of space if you have one big lens like the 80-200 and want to fit a bunch of smaller lenses and other stuff. I do like this bag and I will not be returning it.

I have only positives to say about this sling bag. This is a great value for the money, and it fits my equipment. It is perfect for my D7000, 2 lenses, SB600, and all my spare batteries... and there is room for 1 more lens. I like having a compartment for my wallet and other stuff, so this one is great for all that!
I highly recommend it! And of course, B&H are some of the best people to deal with... I am a happy customer.

I expected the upper compartment to be larger than it is. The buckle to the upper compartment is difficult to operate. However, the overall bag is sturdy and I am happy with the lower compartment and the ease at getting my camera out quickly.

Comments about Manfrotto Stile Collection: Agile V Sling (Black):
I am a very novice picture-taker (hesitate to say "photographer"), and wanted to keep all my camera gear in one bag. This Agile V Sling fills that bill very nicely. Everything fits in with room to spare, and it is comfortable to carry. Some changes I would make: put the mono/tripod straps on the side instead of the back. so they don't protrude. Then one could open up the back to get to other gear, if zippers were added. As is now, the only access to camera and gear is thru the side. It would certainly be easier if there was a back access also. That being said, it is still a great bag, and a good value. It serves my needs.

Use this bag constantly when not at work, the easy accessible compartment is great to grab the SLR with the zoom lens attached without exposing the rest of the equipment. The fact that you have to remove the bag to get to the main compartment was a big seller in my book, not easy for anyone to take something out of it in a crowded place.

I use the backpack for my camera, nikon d60, and I think it's by far the most comfortable, practical, durable and above all waterproof. All these features allow me to use it anytime and anywhere. excellent product

I´bought this backpack about two weeks ago and was very usefull for walking in the city and have an easy access to it my camera. It has a top and lateral access and you can organice the inside as you like. You can leave a space for your wallet, keys, phone, etc... I have a 5D Mark II with a battery pack and it will work ok if I that is the only thing that i am carrying (with one lens). It´s too small if your camera is big and if you want to carry also a pair of big lenses (70-200mm, f2.8, a 24-70mm, f2.8) and a flash. It´s not good if your work involves running and changing lenses fast.
