My first Monopod..Just GREAT,Its lightweight just a shade over a Lb.Sets up easy only 2 leg locks and clips to my belt loop w/supplied clip or wrist strap for safety/downpull.On my beltloop i hardly know its there only for the occassional leg bump. Love it and it will travel many miles/shoots with me.Price is good too.

Comments about Vanguard Espod AM-233 Aluminum Monopod w/Tilt Head:
I needed a monopod to help me steady my long lens shots when the use of a tripod was not permitted. This one works for me. It is lightweight and opens quickly. I like having 2 quick flip leg locks instead of the 3 or more twist locks. I have added a Kirk quick release clamp to the Tilt Head to use the quick release plates mounted to the tripod feet of my 70-200 and 80-400 lenses. My max load is a D700 w/ battery pack and 80-400 lens. Have had no problems supporting that weight.
