    Great mic for soprano sax!

Comments about Pyle Pro PMSAX1 Instrument & Saxophone XLR Condenser Microphone:

Both this horn mic to replace my old AKG C419, which developed a short/open somewhere internally. The Pyle Pro gives a bright spund but is less directional so it will pick up ambient sounds. It is sensitive so you can turn the gain down and filter out the low frequencies and have a decent sounding microphone for live performances.

Comments about Pyle Pro PMSAX1 Instrument & Saxophone XLR Condenser Microphone:

For the money, these mics sound fine. I am using them in an orchestra for musicals at a University. They are giving me the opportunity to mic several different types instrument from year to year.
