After thinking twice about spending the price asked for this large cover to protect a Canon 7D with long lenses, I decided to forget the money and go for it. After all, what could be problematic about a Canon product? The result: I am returning it and questioning whether Canon ever field tested the design; it is unwieldy, and not intuitive to set up and use. Possibly, if set up indoors complete with tripod and carried out into rain, it might save your day. Setting it up outdoors in rain, there may be no guarantees of dry equipment during the setup process because of the need to adjust and readjust velcro closings. Canon would be better off designing something with stretch-and-expand closures--maybe even for specific lenses.
The velcro closures on this Canon cover are white and therefore prone to unsightly soiling. MOREOVER, ONE VELCRO FASTENER WAS NOT COMPLETELY SEWN to the cover. Defects are not expected in equipment bearing the Canon name.
What I am thinking: Get a piece of clear flexible plastic, cut it to convenient size, and experiment with a few stretch bracelets before trying another Canon cover.

It's fairly easy to review a rain cover, so I'll just say this about it:
It's very easy to install, it keeps the camera dry, and it's really easy to get back into the storage pouch once you're finished with it. Materials are of high quality, yet light-weight and easily carried in your pack. Folds up very small.
