The Plattan Plus On-Ear Stereo Headphones (Aubergine) from Urbanears are designed to provide high-quality audio and a comfortable fit that integrate perfectly into a mobile lifestyle. The headphones feature 40mm handmade driver units to deliver clear, natural audio with a wide frequency response. An integrated mic and control button allow you to easily make phone calls and control music playback on compatible smart phones such as the iPhone, as well as phones from Nokia, Blackberry, and HTC. The headphones also carry an official "Made for iPhone" certification from Apple.
For long-lasting comfort, the headphones have an adjustable headband that fits virtually any head size. Thick on-ear cushions provide a soft fit that will keep you listening for hours. The cushions and closed-back earcup design also help to block out ambient noise so you can focus on your music. The headphones also feature a folding design for convenient portability.
The right earcup has a unique "Zound Plug" that is actually an extra headphone jack. This allows a friend to plug their headphones into yours so you can listen to the same tunes together. The left earcup has a single-sided fabric-covered cable that provides durability and resistance to tangles. The standard 3.5mm plug provides compatibility with a wide variety of MP3 players, CD players, and more.

This is my 3rd pair of Urbanears Plattan in a row. They've become my go-to headphones of choice since I discovered them 3 years ago...I treat headphones like battalion objects—not delicately—and these are the first ones I've found that withstand daily use, travel, accidents, and urban life...and all while sounding amazing, and looking totally adorable. I'll probably never buy another brand of headphone. What can I say...the Swedes always do it right.

We are very happy with these headphones. I purchased them for my son who wanted Beats. Could not swing the 200 + so I researched these. My son compared them to a friends beats and they sound just as good. The only thing I would have liked is the detactable cord and perhaps a longer cord as well, but hey, these are great. Have purchased stuff from B&H in the past and these guys are the best. VERY FAST SERVICE ! ! We love them. Thank you B&H as always. Loyal customer for life :)

These are the best headphones I have ever had. The sound is amazing, yet cannot be heard by other people, which I am always aware of as I commute on crowded subways in NYC everyday. They are also a beautiful dark purple color that I get compliments on everyday. They are extremely comfortable on my ears and fold up to fit my purse when I am not using them. I would highly recommend these headphones!!!
