The Tamrac Zuma 7 Photo/iPad/Netbook Triple Access Backpack is a highly mobile, fast-access bag. With a durable 600D PolyTek exterior, Cordura nylon lining with waterproof internal coating, and closed-cell foam-padding, you can rest assured that this bag is tough enough. It is designed for the multi-tasking DSLR photographer. The Zuma 7 holds a standard DSLR camera with up to a 6.5" (16.5 cm) lens attached, several extra lenses (including a 70-200 mm f/2.8) and a flash, as well as an iPad or other similar-sized Netbook, Tamrac's ZipShot Mini Tripod, and all the necessary accessories.

There are 3 ways to access your equipment, thanks to Tamrac's Triple Access System: When wearing the pack, slip off 1 shoulder strap and swing the pack around to your front. Unzip the side door, pull out your camera with lens attached and you're ready to shoot. To access gear on the other side, zip the side door closed, swing the pack around to your other shoulder and open the other side door. Gear can also be accessed through the front panel when the pack is off your shoulders.

The foam-padded compartment on the front is great for carrying the iPad or other 10" (25.4 cm) screen Netbook. The front accessory pocket has smaller Window-pane Mesh pockets inside to organize things like small adapters, memory cards and extra batteries. Two paraphernalia pockets are also present, for securing larger items like small digital cameras, phones, iPods or the ZipShot Mini Tripod. Apple's wireless keyboard also fits in a special sleeve. Both sides of the bag also have mesh pockets for small items like memory cards or lens caps. A removable rain cover is included with the backpack.

Comments about Tamrac Zuma 7 Photo/iPad/Netbook Triple Access Backpack:

I LOVE this bag. It is the greatest functional lens bag I have ever used. It carries so much for its small profile. First of all I love it because it is a backpack. It evenly distributes weight on your back rather than on one shoulder. Second, it has multiple access zippers to the interior contents. I can swing it over one shoulder and access lenses from either side. Or I can lay the bag down, open the bag and see all my lenses at once. Third, it has an iPad pocket/sleeve so I can slip in an protect my iPad and it is enclosed with velcro so it won't accidentally slip out. This is a well thought out bag with 3 little pockets that each perfectly fit a camera battery (or a few memory cards if you prefer). In the outer zipper pocket it has two gray pockets which for me hold my flash in one and my light meter in the other. It has a small clear zipper pocket inside but toward the top to hold my keys, lip balm, and business cards. It also has another iPad sized sleeve that I use for notes and paperwork. For the interior it holds a lot of lenses. It has room for a 70-200 attached to a body. I carry that along with 4 low profile lenses (50,85,35,50macro) and it holds everything. I keep my backup gear in another bag, but for actively working, this bag is awesome to have everything you need right at your fingertips. It's a sturdy bag and well worth the price. The only thing I would have wanted is an outer mesh sleeve to hold a water bottle but I think they have a water bottle holder accessory you can buy.

Great backpack case with lots of storage. It will fit a DSLR with multiple lenses including a 70-200mm. Also has lots of memory card and accessory storage with a tablet or small laptop area.

Sturdy design and build with lots of padding. I am definitely not afraid if it falls.

Three different ways to access your camera gear. Very easy to access your camera if you need it out quick.

Comments about Tamrac Zuma 7 Photo/iPad/Netbook Triple Access Backpack:

This purchase was the second back for me, since upgrading from a Nikon D90 DX to the D800 FX. The upgrade purchase also included two large lenses and a larger flash. Fitting all that in my thinner LowePro Backpack would be ridiculous. Not that my old bag wasnt any good, it was just way too small. I needed a larger bag, so I worked with the floor sales people and tried a sling bag and a large square shoulder but they were too heavy for a long haul. Then they showed me this bag. I packed all my stuff in it, tried it on and basically purchased it non the spot. Now carrying a large camera, 3 lenses, batteries and flash, IPAD and assorted accessories is not light, but the bag has extra soft padding on the shoulders, and a strap in-front across your chest that helped a lot. My first trip with the bag was to Puerto Rico, and it worked perfectly. As a matter of fact, it was better than perfect. See, never being to a rain forest, we decided what the heck and proceeded to go early one day. While it started out nice and sunny, it soon started to drizzle. I wasn't worried till it actually started to rain really hard. At that point I started to panic, knowing that my camera and lenses were about to be ruined...but wait, I forgot to tell you what was included with the bag...a backpack poncho!!! So I whipped it out under cover of a towel, slipped on the poncho over the whole outside of the backpack. Lo and behold, no worries about the bag getting really soaked, and my new purchases as well. But truth be told, it started to pour so hard that so much rain was running down my back, starting to soak me and the back cushioning of the bag. Luckily we hadI had cheap plastic ponchos, and I donned one to keep from totally drenching the back portion of the bag. In the end I was really happy, the wetness down my back never even came close to wetting my equipment because of how thick the padding on the back was, and the backpack poncho, really not made for the foulest weather, such as drenching pouring rain, stood up really well. And as the rain let up, I eased the poncho up and slid the camera out of the easily accessible ports on either side of the bag and took many wonderful pictures of through the rest of walk through Yunque Rain Forest in beautiful Puerto Rico.

                        I comfortably carry my Nikon D3s, Nikon 24-70 f2.8, Nikon 14-24 f2.8, 50mm f1.4, 16mm f2.8 and extra battery.

                          The back pocket is perfect

                          The padding is great

i looked forever for a good bag to have for travel that would hold my stuff. the main compartment design on this one is great. i can have a 5D with the 24-105 mounted, 70-200mm f2.8 in the top (without the hood) stack the hood in one of the bottom slots and still have room for 2 primes, charger and spare battery. i can also flip flop one divider and leave the 70-200 mounted. the pockets in the front pouch are okay. would prefer more zips/velcro to keep things from falling out, but it's not too bad. ipad access it great. so are the sides for quick access to the camera. it's not really tall enough if you want a battery grip, FYI. the only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is it's a bit pricey compared to other offerings.

I used it for my work, travel and walk around.
This bag is great is because it is small and compact enough for my liking.
But surprisingly, it can hold a lot more stuffs than what I expected.

Small and light weight is what made my decision to settle for this bag.

1 bad about this order I ordered from b&h is, they never check the bag first before shipping out to me. The bag came with 1 side of the front pocket being stitched into the zipper. I had to cut it out and stitch back myself as I am an overseas customer, even though b&h offered to exchange the bag for me. But I find it too troublesome. This is already the second case.

Comments about Tamrac Zuma 7 Photo/iPad/Netbook Triple Access Backpack:

I do a lot of event photography and recently I needed to carry two Nikon DSLR cameras each with a different mid size lens on my back while riding a bicycle thru a wooded area. The event was a mud run with many obstacles. After receiving the Zuma 7, I rearanged the different compartments to meet my needs and used the front compartment to hold extra batteries, remote triggers, a few personal items and some trail food. The backpack preformed perfectly, easy to put on and take off, comfortable, and easy to access my gear. I am very glad I made the purchase

I am going on vacation by plane and wanted a backpack that would fit my various lenses so I could take both telephoto and macro shots. This back pack has my camera with 200 mm lens attached plus 3 other lenses, a couple of filters my point and shoot camera and other accessories. It's light and yet has everything in it.

I had the chance to buy this in the store while I was visiting NY. So I looked at many bags before deciding. Whether you are in an urban or rural setting this bag is perfect. It has tons of pockets for all my SD cards, filters, batteries, etc. I carry my Pentax camera body & 4-5 lenses in this bag which fit really well. My mini laptop fits well also. Has durable outer shell and comes with a rain cover. The straps are comfortable. The dual side access is a wonderful feature. I love this bag! I recommend this bag.

With two reflex cameras, secundary lenses, iPad amd other material included: 7 kg of material in my shoulder and a lot of miles on foot! Perfect carriage. The only one thing that it could be necessary: a support for tripod carriage.
