The Zacuto Z-ZWP Zwiss Plate is a multi-purpose mounting plate that allows you to mount articulating arms, rods, batteries, converter boxes, and various other camera accessories onto a camera support system. Equipped with 2 sets of industry standard 15mm rod holes spaced 60mm apart, the plate can be vertical-mounted onto standard 15mm rods or through the top of the plate to extend the rig. Using the red levers, you can securely mount the plate onto the rods.
You can use the Zwiss plate with the wireless plate to mount multiple wireless receivers onto camera support systems. It can also be used with both Anton Bauer 3-Stud and V-Mount style batteries. The battery plate and the battery mounted on the Zwiss Plate can be used as a counterbalance to ensure a stable shooting. By adding Z-Lite weights to the back of the rig, you can add extra counterforce to the camera support system.
The Zamerican quick release arms mount directly into the 15mm holes of the plate and are ideal for mounting lights, monitors, and audio devices. Using the Zwiss Plate, you can also mount the AJA Ki Pro Mini video recorder onto the camera rig.

This is a great, sturdy, and versatile plate, but it is not compatible with the Anton-Bauer QRC-GOLD mount. Other AB mounts will fit, but they have to be the kind that screws all the way through the mount, rather than the ones that screw in from behind (like the QRC). The threaded mounts are a slightly different size and don't fit through the pre-milled holes.
So many holes! But not the right ones for me.

This is a beefy plate of metal that will hold your accessories on your camera rig. I'm currently using it to attach Anton Bauer battery plate & batteries for various camera configurations on my shoulder and tripod rig.
Solid Zacuto build, easy to attach items onto as it comes with several different sized screws. No doubts this will last forever.

I use this plate to mount a Ki Pro Mini on a set of 15mm rods. The KI Pro Mini mounts directly onto the plate and the plate goes directly onto the rods. The plate is heavy duty and does the same thing that would require both AJA's Ki Pro Mini mounting plate and AJA's rods adapter so the price is fairly reasonable with that in mind.

I used this plate to mount an AJA Ki Pro Mini to rails, and to mount an Anton Bauer battery holder to the other side. What a pleasant surprise to find that the Zwiss plate was already drilled and tapped to match the screw holes on the Anton Bauer QRC-Dual PT! I found some slightly longer bolts, and voila the plate was attached!
