Comments about Crumpler Popular Disgrace Camera Strap (Black):
I really like Crumpler products and was very happy to find a very simple but, durable strap from them. I always appreciate the construction of Crumpler products and the strap although simple is another example. I have a couple of them.

Comments about Crumpler Popular Disgrace Camera Strap (Black):
Comfortable for day use, but probably not something I would wear all day or while hiking. I like it because it is discreet in comparison to the canon straps.
The material is great. Strong enough to support camera with flash, and neck strap is soft and comfortable.

Comments about Crumpler Popular Disgrace Camera Strap (Black):
I like to be able to use both a wrist strap and a neck strap with my cameras when I travel. Sometimes I want a neckstrap to keep my hands free, sometimes I want a wrist strap so I won't have a camera banging around on my chest. But both have to be light and easy to stow in my small bag when not in use. The Crumpler strap has two sturdy quick release clips that I leave on the camera at all times. The wrist strap I use is an Op-Tech and has a similar small yet sturdy QR release that can stay on the camera. That way I can quickly switch back and forth between types of straps without too much stuff hanging from my camera's strap lugs. This Crumpler strap is small but has enough padding to allow me to hang my Nikon D7000 with small zoom from my neck with no discomfort after extended periods of time. It is nicely finished and made from quality materials and is a great strap, especially for the price.

Comments about Crumpler Popular Disgrace Camera Strap (Black):
I bought this strap for an Olympus PEN E-PL2 Micro Four Thirds camera to replace the unpadded OEM strap. As others have noted the neoprene padding is a bit slippery for slinging over the shoulder, but it works brilliantly for carrying the camera over the neck. The weight is distributed very evenly and it doesn't cut into the neck the way the OEM strap did. For anything heavier get the Industry Disgrace or Convenient Disgrace, but for a ocmpact or MF3 camera this is a great size that doesn't bulk up your camera bag.
My only major criticism is the thin thread used for connecting the quick release tabs to the camera. I chose to remove the quick release clips entirely and just connected the nylon straps directly to the camera like an OEM strap because I didn't trust the thead to hold up over time. If they used a thicker cord that would have been a convenient option for mounting to the camera. For the price, though, I'm very happy with the strap so far.

Comments about Crumpler Popular Disgrace Camera Strap (Black):
I use this for Sony NEX-7 and its a great fit. Feels more comfortable in wearing it around the neck or over the shoulder than the standard NEX strap. And using a SLR strap is an overkill for P&S's or M4/3rds.
I always feel like the in-box standard straps of any camera brand tend to tear through your neck after long wear. Plus I'm not one that likes to announce to the world that I'm carrying a NEX-7 (or Canon or Nikon with their huge lettering)and having them ask me questions about my camera when I'm trying to compose a shot.
Sleek and simple is what I like.

Comments about Crumpler Popular Disgrace Camera Strap (Black):
I am using this strap on a Zenit Horizont panoramic camera. The camera is very heavy, but I don't plan to carry it much. If I had planed to carry it more, I would have automatically gone for the Industry Disgrace.
That would have been unnecessary. The Popular Disgrace can comfortably handle heavy cameras as easily as anything else. I recommend it.
I own two Populars and two Industries, and now consider the Industries a bit of a waste. Even for the very heavy Kodak Stereo 35 and the Pentax K1000 with telephoto lenses.
Plus you have your colors!

Comments about Crumpler Popular Disgrace Camera Strap (Black):
It is what it is, and that is probably a heck of a lot better than the neck strap included with your P&S camera.
I purchased this to replace the subpar neck strap included with my P&S as I prefer a neck strap over a wrist strap, especially since I use a wheelchair for long outings.
Great quality as you'd expect from Crumpler and the strap is very comfortable to wear!

Comments about Crumpler Popular Disgrace Camera Strap (Black):
I bought this strap as I wanted something a bit more comfortable than the one that came with my camera, and I wasn't disappointed! It is nice and soft on the neck, but isn't too bulky (the Industry Disgrace would be way too large for me).
Great product!

Comments about Crumpler Popular Disgrace Camera Strap (Black):
It's an okay strap. I use it for lighter or lesser used cameras. The best thing about it is the lack of metal to scratch your equipment. Not as much support as the Industry Disgrace, but lots cheaper. It isn't much more than a Crumpler afterthought, but it's better than the similarly priced alternatives.
