I use the C/D Strap to support a Canon 40D, usually fit with either my Canon 24-70, f2.8 or Canon 70-200, f2.8.....shoot primarliy landscapes/architecture. Either of those camera/lens combinations will tax your neck and back if worn long enough with the original equipment strap, particularly in the New Orleans summer heat. I was amazed after several hours of wear using both lens how much more comfortably the load was distributed on my neck and shoulders with the Convenient Disgrace Strap. The neck strap perforations also allow sufficient ventilation to preclude a "wet neck." The material used in the yoke keeps the strap and attached gear secure......prevents slippage around the neck. The additonal accessory C/D strap allows you to outfit a secondary camera that makes switching a breeze. In my humble opinion, this is one major dynamic cost effective upgrade to the original equipment strap supplied with most SLR's. It seemingly reduces the weight of the total load dramatically and makes carrying gear on long shoots much more enjoyable. [...]

I have been using the Industry Disgrace for years, the one without the detachable clasps. I find that one more comfortable, and I think it has more padding in the strap. For an additional $10 I thought this would have been at least the same in comfort. But by far beats the straps provided by the camera manufactorers.

Comments about Crumpler Convenient Disgrace Camera Strap (Black):
I love my new camera strap. I carried my camera around for several hours with ease. The weight was easily distributed across my body as the strap comfortably sits across the shoulders instead of around the neck. The soft construction does not rub or chafe. I like my Black Rapid strap as well but this is my favourite. I purchased 2 more as gifts.

Comments about Crumpler Convenient Disgrace Camera Strap (Black):
Very comfortable to wear for a long period.
I carried a Gripped T3i, (with sigma 30mm, tamron 70-300 VC) during 20 days vacation on Universal/Sea World/Disney, around my neck for 10 hours and never got tired.
Very good option to distribute the weight on your neck and shoulders.

Comments about Crumpler Convenient Disgrace Camera Strap (Black):
I should have bought one of these sooner. This strap made my heaviest rig feel less than half the weight. Now I don't need to stop for epson salt on the way home from an extended hike. Straps are long enough that I can carry the body on my left hip, with the strap over the right shoulder (I'm 5'6"). But it's pretty close to maxed out, you might get another 2 inches at best.
It holds well under tension, and slides easily around to the back when lifting the camera to your eye. Material your wearing may effect it, not sure. I was wearing just a pull-over tee shirt type shirt.
If I could change anything, I wish the straps where another 6 in longer (at least one of them). That way I could make one side longer and get shoulder pad so the widest part was still on top of my shoulder. There's enough of the wide part there already that it works. Just the hump/flange part is around to a back a little. If you hang your camera around your neck, or on the same side shoulder this won't be a concern.

Very comfortable to wear for a long period, the versatility of strap options is very useful. I carried a Gripped 7D around my neck for 12 hours and never got tired or sore. This strap really spreads the weight out on your shoulders and neck.

Way over priced.I was expecting some real fome
for the neck pading. The unit is stiff, and very
wide.I would have been better off just rapping
a kitchen towl around the old strap.I did not
even want to give this product one star.

probably the cheapest upgrade I have made yet that has had such a significant improvement over the standard option. I like the fact that this stap attaches to the standard loops (as opposed to other after market straps that screw into the tripod mount on the bottom. The only drawback to this strap is that it doesn't have anti-twist spinners built in.

I wasn't so pleased with my kit Canon strap for my 60D. I shoot with the Canon 24-105 f4.0L, the Zeiss 35mm f1.4, and the Zeiss 50mm f2.0 Macro. The 35mm is 2 pounds of optical magic. (The 60D is just beefy enough to support it, I wouldn't try the 35mm on a T3i).
The strap is well made. I'm a big Crumpler fan. One thing I really like about this strap is that you can disconnect the neck pad part and hook the straps together attached to your camera. I shoot mostly video. Having that loop there gave me a bit of extra security when putting the camera on the tripod, handling it, etc.
