The Cavision Lens Support with Trimmer Knob can be used for applications where camera lenses are changed on a regular basis. It features an extra large curved t-part and trimmer knob that offers accurate vertical adjustment. The lens support offers additional support for wide angle or telephoto lenses. You can use the lens support with a mini 35mm adaptor or large DSLR lenses.
Note! Note: Lens support must be used in conjunction with a 15mm (60mm spaced) rods support system. Lens support for 100mm spaced rods or 105mm spaced rods (Ø19mm) also available.

I spent way too much time researching lens supports for our Panasonic GH2. For many of them, the riser rod is way too long, so its bottom hit the rod base or quick release plate. More importantly, the knob is a unique feature which allows you to fine-tune the right amount of pressure on the lens. You want to take weight off the lens mount, not twist it upwards.
Admittedly, I tried several other Cavision products and wasn't happy with the quality - this is the one exception.
(PS as I eventually found out, the problem in my situation wasn't lens weight, it was the GH2's plastic body flexing. The solution was a cage and a better mount adapter, not a lens support.)

Machining is high end, thus a well made, nice looking item. I wish the riser was taller as it won't reach my long lenses when I have a battery pack (or any other accessory) mounted to the bottom of the dslr camera. I've come up with my own adapter to accomplish this. This is attached to Zacuto rods & slides easily.

Wonderful little support bracket. I use this on a 7D cinema rig for our long 200mm lens and it's great.
Does exactly what it's supposed to do, well built, and doesn't need a locking screw or anything. The trimmer knob doesn't move at all while shooting and it's very secure.
