I have a small voice-over studio and I'm the sole user of the mic. It stays in the same position most of the time other than swinging in and out of position to narrate/edit, so it sees light use. It worked great for about 8 months then one mounting arm broke off. The mic didn't fall out but the mount is useless now. I don't think I'll chance buying another.

I had only used the mount for about six months and same issue as PA the DJ plastic mic mount cracked in two places rendering the whole unit useless... have nice pieces of rubber for a sling shot!!

Does a great job with the RE-20, but after a few weeks the plastic mic mount cracked in 4 places, dropping the mic and rendering the whole mount useless. Could not get a replacement part from EV. This part carries a lot of stress and should be made of metal! Very surprised since this design has been around 4-ever - must be a quality control issue.

The 309A suspension microphone shock mount does a good job of isolating the microphone from bumps and microphone position adjustments that cause noise during records or live programs. It is easy to move the microphone in almost any position to fit the user. Four of these have been in our studio for ten years of live radio before having to replace them after years of heavy use.
