The black ProBody Sport Backpack from Clik Elite is a lightweight pack that will hold your DSLR, a few lenses, flash and some accessories. Here's a lightweight pack made from rugged 420 Denier HT (High Tenacity) Nylon and 330 Denier Cordura Nylon that will serve you well be it for general outdoor photography or your favorite sports pursuit such as mountain biking, fast packing or even skiing.

The ProBody is a slim designed pack with enough room inside to accommodate most everything you'll need for your photo outing. With its tuck-a-way tripod attachments, you'll even be able to take along a small tri-or-monopod - and what outdoor photographer doesn't occasionally need one of those. This is also a fast working pack since it can also be used as a sling-type bag. The side access camera bay permits you to reach inside and grab your DSLR for that quick shot without having to stop and open the entire bag. Just swing the bag up front, zip open the bay, grab your camera, take your shot, re-seal the bay, rotate it back up on your back and you're off again. Multiple attachment points permit additional accessories to be attached.

Inside, the fully padded construction protects your gear and is further supported by the tuck-a-way rain fly that can be deployed when the weather turns marginal. The handy organizer panel that is separate from the camera bay is used to hold your batteries and memory cards as well as other small accessories. The pack is carried by two padded and adjustable straps and supported by a chest strap with quick-release coupler that will hold the pack firm and straight while hiking or riding.

Backed by Clik Elite's lifetime warranty, the ProBody Sport is a serious pack to be considered by the avid outdoors shooter or activist.

this is a great day bag for the adventures we take in life. i shoot snowboarding and found this to be the perfect on rest back pack for the days when you don't need the big strobes. it ride comfortable and holds my 5d mark II with 70-200mm f/2.8L Hood reversed. and still has room to store my 28-70 and 580 flash. the separate storage above holds my lunch and spare layers. all n all this is a great bag for those 'lite" days in the field. the only improvement they could make is better padding, its great but for the adventure sports were falls are a part of the sport, i wish it had more padding

My biggest issue is with the waist straps. They are not removable and have no place to hide. Time to cut. Very comfy bag.

Comments about Clik Elite ProBody Sport Backpack (Black):

I purchased this bag as a gift for my spouse so we would have a bag to hike with. Previously we had been leaving our camera loose in bottom of a backpack. The conversation was sparked because one day we had a banana get mushed and some of it got into the flash hinge and we had to get it cleaned. And while I haven't yet taken this bag on a hike, I have packed it with my Canon 60D + 2nd lens and all the typical goodies (lens cloth, extra battery, etc.) and it easily fit in the lower section of the bag (though not with much room to spare). On top of that the upper compartment has ample space for snacks, a wind breaker/rain jacket, water bottle and a pair of binoculars. Construction seems very solid, and the bag is light weight and comfortable on the back. Very pleased that I picked this bag.

Comments about Clik Elite ProBody Sport Backpack (Black):

I don't have a pro body SLR, but I use a few pro lenses and was concerned that the compact bag would be too small. I'd say the pro body size is just right for me to carry my digital Rebel body with an attached 70-200 f4L (the longest lens I own). I can also carry a couple of small primes or a chunky L standard zoom along with the above combination. When I take the 70-200 off to switch lenses it's a little harder to find a secure place for it without re-arranging the compartment dividers. I don't have this problem with any of the other standard zooms, primes or wide angles though. Access to the camera compartment is really easy, but the tripod legs stick in their webbing pocket a little so I tend to fumble a little more getting the tripod out.

The pack itself is very comfortable for walking for several hours at a time and feels stable loaded with a tripod in the side bungee strap. The tripod carry location might not be the best if you're trying to do something very active, since the head could whack your body/neck/head if the it gets jostled around. Without the tripod, it would make a nice skiing and biking pack. This would be a 5 star pack if they included just a little longer divider for the top lens pouch, or maybe an additional divider for further customization.

I just got back from Spain and this backpack was awesome for my Rebel T3 DSLR. I was able to fit it with my 18-55mm lens/or 75-300mm lens attached or detatched. I also had my battery charger, cords, external flash all in the bottom half. I was able to fit by water pack successfully as well. In the top half I had a rain jacket, snacks, and a few other things. The pack was easy to sling around and access or change lenses.

This is a nice lightweight backpack. It is very comfortable to wear with good support. It holds almost everything that you should need. It could stand to have a bit more room for lenses and there is no space from the opening and where the camera sits. The positive is that you are able to get to the camera easily.

I was perfectly happy with my sling bag, with a few exceptions: I'd outgrown it's size and the husband didn't like it and wanted a backpack. In addition, I wanted a bag that could carry an iPad. Well, this bag isn't perfect, but I was able to fit my equipment in it, and if necessary, could squeeze the iPad in the top compartment, though getting anything else in there is about out. We'd first ordered the Pro Express backpack, but it was simply too big and too heavy for me to even consider carrying on long trips. This one fits our bill: the husband likes it and I can carry it if needed. The side opening is nice, but it you pack the area full it'll be difficult to get the camera out. For my needs, I'd only carry one extra lens, and there would be lots of space!

You can easily fit a DSLR (I use a Nikon D5100) with a 18-55 lens on, a 55-300 with the hood reversed, plus charger, extension tube (size equivalent to a 18-55 mm lens), cables, batteries etc. Also tripod is easily attached outside, although not sure if it's attached firmly enough for riding with a mountain bike, didn't try yet.
There is a nice upper compartment to fit extra things.
Great bag, great quality, and really easy to carry on your bag.

Comments about Clik Elite ProBody Sport Backpack (Black):

I got the probody because it had a little more room than the compact sport. I have a Nikon D5100, speed light, the 18-55mm kit lens, 55-200mm kit lens, 40mm micro lens, and an 8mm fish-eye that I hold in the bottom compartment. Along with the battery chargers and additional batteries memory cards. I have a compact tripod strapped to the side of the bag and a few filters and hoods up top. I still have plenty of room for additional layers and snacks. Not to mention that I have a 70oz camelbak bladder in the pack as well.

This bag is built sturdy and you can strap it on and it will never move on your back. I use it for mountain biking and hiking with no issues.

Comments about Clik Elite ProBody Sport Backpack (Black):

So far this pack is great! I am impressed with the quality of both design and assembly. It has lots of features for usable space and adjustments so it fits your body correctly and comfortably. The camera compartment is a bit tight for a Pentax K-7 with battery grip and a 28-200 lens with hood attached in shooting position. The tightest area is the top right rear of the camera, when adjusted so you can remove it easily from the bag. I would have liked the padding to be a bit thicker on the camera compartment flap but it is acceptable. The zippers and seams seem to be well made. The camera compartment has hook and loop so you can move the dividers around to suit your situaton. I have the above mentioned camera/lens and two more lenses and a full size flash unit in the camera compartment. I also have put another lens in the upper compartment and a light windbreaker type jacket with a reasonable amount of room left over.
The Tripod/monopod storage on the side is nice, seems to be secure. It will not hold a very big tripod though. I have a monopod that measures about 19" collapsed and it sticks just a little above the top of the pack. The top strap for the tri/monopod is very secure and well designed and even tucks completely away when not being used. The rain cover is tucked away in the very bottom exterior of the pack and when stowed, should act as a moisture barrier if you set it down on damp ground. The hydration bladder area seems to work well. As advertised, the bladder is NOT included.

Comments about Clik Elite ProBody Sport Backpack (Black):

Pack is still freshly new and I've only used it a couple times. I can say it's darn cozy to wear. I wish the hip belt style was easier to tighten and loosen like Osprey.

The main camera compartment is smaller than I expected. I can fit my 5D plus 85mm 1.2L and the TS-E 24mm 3.5L, with one of them attached to the body. Seems a little cramped but I think it was rated for this much gear. Up top I can fit another lens, and have my 70-300 4-5.6L.

Looking forward to taking this pack on some hikes in the near future. THere's room for a water bladder which I didn't expect. Also some extra pockets for loose gear, sunglasses. THere's an outer mesh pocket, plus inside the main camera compartment is a flap with zippered pockets for extra batteries and memory cards. If I load it up with all 3 lenses I won't have much room for snacks or extra clothing. You can read more about it and dimensions at the Clik Elite website.

One con about the camera compartment - it seems hard to access the extra lens storage area as it's mostly covered by the outside pack. When you unzip the pack, you're opening roughly 60% of the compartment, the rest of which you kind of need to dig out. I've popped my lens cover off a couple of times while pulling the extra lens out of the pack because of this and because it's a tight fit.

On the bottom, there's a secret compartment for an included rain fly. The camera compartment zippers are sealed from rain, and I think the pack could probably withstand some light rain or drizzle without the rainfly, though I might not chance it will all that gear.

I'm glad I purchased this pack.

this is a great day bag for the adventures we take in life. i shoot snowboarding and found this to be the perfect on rest back pack for the days when you don't need the big strobes. it ride comfortable and holds my 5d mark II with 70-200mm f/2.8L Hood reversed. and still has room to store my 28-70 and 580 flash. the separate storage above holds my lunch and spare layers. all n all this is a great bag for those 'lite" days in the field. the only improvement they could make is better padding, its great but for the adventure sports were falls are a part of the sport, i wish it had more padding

Comments about Clik Elite ProBody Sport Backpack (Black):

After much consideration of several packs I bought this one for mountain biking. I shoot active travel and outdoor sports like skiing, biking, etc.

I needed a pack that fit closely and held a pro-body, a few zooms and flash, plus hydration pack and some basic clothes and first aid kit.

I shoot a D700 with motordrive grip. This pack holds it--barely. I usually have a 24-120 f4 lens mounted to the camera with a 17-35 2.8 and a 50 1.4 in the protective bottom portion of the pack. Two Nikon speedlights and sync cords go in the top portion (minimal padding) along with energy bar, rainshell, first aid kit, etc.

I've taken some major crashes with this pack on, including one where I fell off a small cliff onto my back while biking. Neither back nor cameras were damaged.

Gave four stars only because I think the camera area could have been made just a touch larger to more easily accommodate a pro body. They will fit, but it is so tight it's hard to get in and out on the fly.

Overall, a great pack from a company that seems to understand the needs of the active photographer/athlete niche.

Haven't had it long enough to know if it'll hold up, but so far so good. very easy to access the camera with the bag on just your right shoulder.I didn't like the tacky orange/red zipper pull tabs, I quickly cut all those off and replaced them with some non-tacky black ones. Only other flaw I see with this product is the lack of padding on the portion of the bag which covers the LCD & eyecup. This should be addressed by the manufacturer if they want to really improve their product. I will probably [*]rig something to protect the camera in that area.
