Featuring a 1/4” and a 3/8” screw connection for attachment, the arm allows you to adjust the position of the recorder as per your convenience and with a central knob, locks all joints for fixing the recorder in position.

This mounting arm is absolutely solid. I'd give it 5 stars if it were just a tad less heavy - the Pearstone arm of the same size is lighter, though not quite as strong. For most users the weight shouldn't be a problem - I mount my Israeli arms to the front of my handheld camera rig, and I have a pretty front-heavy rig already, so I try to minimize weight on the front as much as possible.
