This is the black Photo Sport Sling 100 AW from Lowepro. Here's a really lightweight way to get out on the trail with your camera, lens, phone, jacket and other items. At 1.7 lb (0.8kg), this pack is for someone who likes to travel fast and light. Made from rip stop nylon and supported by an adjustable and comfortable shoulder strap, this pack can be carried on a plane so you'll never be separated from your gear.
Inside, there is ample space for all kinds of gear - both photo and personal so don't be afraid to stuff your lightweight jacket inside as well as your phone, water bottle, ski poles, keys and even a snack. The dual compartment design permits you to organize your contents. The top area is readily accessed and can hold all your small stuff - phone, keys and water. The camera bay is for the bulkier items and is accessed two ways - either from the top or side when the pack is rotated for sling use. The zippered and padded side access features Lowepro's Ultra-Cinch Camera Chamber where you'll have a simple and reliable cinch closure in addition to the zipper.
Other features of the Photo Sport Sling 100 AW include reflective piping that will allow you to be seen in lower light conditions, a comfortable molded airflow backpad and multiple attachment points for optional accessories. Lowepro's built-in rain fly is another bonus that provides protection to the entire bag when you're caught in rain or snow. Backed by Lowepro's lifetime warranty, the Photo Sport Sling 100 AW is a reasonably-priced bag that offers a host of features for anyone who likes to be outdoors and wants a dual function sling and backpack that won't weigh you down and that provides more than adequate protection for your gear.

Comments about Lowepro Photo Sport Sling 100 AW (Black):
I wanted something large enough to carry my gear and a few extras while traveling and on short hikes. Because I have a Panasonic GH2 I found many bags were too big or made to carry tons of gear. If you have a micro four-thirds system the padded section is very nicely sized to accomodate your kit relatively snuggly. I am including a photo of what I can easily fit into the bag to illustrate how versitle it is. In the photo: GH2 with 14-140 kit, Oly 9-18 lens, Oly 45mm portait lens, 3 filters and extention tube for macro, Joby tripod, jacket, water bottle, box of granola bars, and iPad with room to spare. Only thing I can think of to impove the bag would be a few smaller pockets for memory cards and other little things.

Comments about Lowepro Photo Sport Sling 100 AW (Black):
I loved this bag up to the moment that I slapped it on my back. The pressure from the bag was uncomfortable and the bag did not sit well on my back. I couldn't find a good strap setting to make it fit me will (I'm about 6', thicker shoulders). The biggest let-down was that the back never felt as secure as I would like. It just felt like it wanted to slip off, and I couldn't keep the bag with the thought that my camera might take a dive off a cliff. For piece of mind and additional comfort, I'm definitely upgrading to the 200 AW.

This was for my son to carry a Nikon D70 and a flash. Hi's not very interested in photography, but wants something serious for a trip to Asia. This lets him carry the camera and an iPad and still look stylish. (Priorities!?)

Comments about Lowepro Photo Sport Sling 100 AW (Black):
This bag works great as a day bag if you don't have a lot of gear for your camera. It fit my Canon T2i and holds it in place nicely and I can fit my jacket or lunch or anything else I might need for a day hike but there isn't a protected area for multiple lenses. The sling aspect allows for great access though I think if it had the option to be carried more like a backpack with a second strap which could be tucked away if you want to go with the sling I would prefer it as getting the bag over my head repeatedly get a touch annoying. The top compartment is fairly large for a bag this size

Comments about Lowepro Photo Sport Sling 100 AW (Black):
Great quality product. Very lightweight. Fits camera (without battery grip) with a standard kit lens and one additional lens. The amount of extra storage is ample and I've been able to bring a change of clothes plus extra items. The sling part is neat and very easy to use to retrieve your camera quickly.
Cons: Uncomfortable to wear with too much weight. It will sag down and you can feel it pull.
the 60D barely fits, it's tight and you can see the strain on the zipper.
The main compartment opens into the whole bag so small items might slip down to the bottom of the bag under the camera divider. Makes for a pain to retrieve small things.

Comments about Lowepro Photo Sport Sling 100 AW (Black):
I used this product during a climbing trip recently to Alaska, to carry D7000, 12-24 and 70-300 lens in the camera compartment and SB600 in main compartment. With this weight very easy to use although snug in the compartment. Still can fit a water bottle (outside) and goose down jacket with some first aid kit and snacks easily in the pack. However carrying on one shoulder unless swinging multiple times during the day can get uncomfortable with anything heavier than listed. Very easy to carry with you on the plane. Does not look like a camera bag (black one) a bonus if will be used in areas where discretion is the key.
