Safcord Cord and Cable Protector, Hooks to carpet, 4" x 30' - Black
This SAFCORD Cord and Cable Protector secures electrical cords to looped carpet. The "hook & loop" method replaces tape to lock cords in place without using damaging adhesive. Providing the lowest profile possible as it keeps cords in place. Scuffing feet and vacuums will not budge it, unlike the plastic tunnels being sold. It stays in place until you lift it.
- Construction
- Made of industrial-grade Cordura Nylon, is washable and reusable. The hook material is secured on the nylon with extremely durable filament, this high-quality design allows it to be cut to any length without unravelling.
- Non- Adhesive
- It's the only non-adhesive method for securing cords on stair carpet, along carpet trim, within trade-show booths, and around curves. Unlike tape, SAFCORD secures cords in place while it allows you to pull slack or slide the cord through its tunnel (underneath the product).

We set up media equipment on a large university campus and go through cases of gaffer's tape every year securing cables so people don't trip on them. Since we started using Safcord, we have been able to eliminate it wherever there are carpets. I am really looking forward to seeing how much tape we save by the end of the year. Nice wide pocket in the center holds lots of cables. For more permanent installations our staff even put down velcro on hard floors and attach this to it.

This works great with plush carpet. The more high traffic carpet thats not as soft seems to have a little more trouble sticking, although it will if your patient enough. It's a great alternative to gaff tape, and allows you to pull slack through to adjust cable length.
