Haven't used the bar as much as I would have liked to yet but when I have it has been great. Is very sturdy and has enough space to mount my accessories. May have to get the bigger one in case I add more gear to my setup.

I bought this bar so I would have a place for my zoom recorder, wireless receiver and shotgun mike when shooting interviews on my Canon 5D MK III. I connect the zoom with a small ball head that has a cold shoe bottom, the mike and receiver both have cold shoes. The bar works great. It is all machined aluminum, lightweight but strong.

This product is close to what I need (could not hind one on the market) and will customize it. It's great with the "shoe bar" not being locked and can change the angle to what is needed. Good design to build from.

This Bar is the perfect size for my Sony V1U. I can fit my shotgun mic, Light, and Wireless unit on it.
It's very Light Weight.
The only negative is that it doesn't lock into place as well as I would like.
