Comments about D-Link DCS-930L Wireless N Network Camera:
The camera is a decent value and works fairly well considering its price. For access to setup and options, you only need to point your web browser to the unit's default IP address and log in.For D-Link's free online and iOS app access for remote online viewing, you must register the camera. The ONLY way to accomplish this is to use D-Link's poorly written setup wizard, which asks painfully redundant questions that assume you barely have the know-how to successfully remove the unit from the packaging. The setup wizard downloaded from D-Link's website stalled upon checking ActiveX status, claimed I did not have a network adapter, and denied network access to secured and unsecure wifi. Getting it working correctly was dependent on disabling anti-virus and firewall and running the wizard setup app from the included CD on a Windows XP machine directly networked to the camera. Once the camera was networked wirelessly, I had to rerun the wizard to finally get it registered.I got it to work as advertised, but it was anything but easy. Troubleshooting the process was a frustrating and time consuming exercise. It's not something I would recommend to anyone unless for punishment.

Comments about D-Link DCS-930L Wireless N Network Camera:
Ok Ive been reading reviews and seeing that some people were having some issues setting this camera up. The following procedure will work for a pc or a Mac:
1) Plug in the camera to you network via Ethernet cable and then plug in the power cable
2) Run the set up wizard. (you can download this from the Dlink website for a pc or Mac)
3) When you get to the point in the setup wizard where you asks you to create a slink account then you are good. You don't need to create an account.
4) Note the IP address that the wizard sets up for you.
5 Now open an Internet browser and type in http://"your ip from the previous step here"
6) Now you can access the webcam directly to enable the wifi and other options!

Comments about D-Link DCS-930L Wireless N Network Camera:
It had lots of neat features and seemed like it would be great. The only bad thing is as soon as I installed it a popup came up showing a newer firmware was available. Although I tried diligently several days I was never able to get the wireless feature to work. It also froze up after a while and I would have to reset it.
