Comments about Adaptimax Canon EF Lens Adapter for Sony PMW-F3:
Purchased this adapter after watching an informative clip of it fitted to the Sony PMW-F3 camera. Very solid adapter.
I have used all my various Canon lenses with sound results to date.
Recently finished filming in Norway, Europe with exceptional results.
Professional product.

Comments about Adaptimax Canon EF Lens Adapter for Sony PMW-F3:
This is a solid adapter. Mounts very snugly to both the camera and lens. It's great for use with prime lenses, but have had some issues when using zooms. Focus won't hold throughout the zoom range (ie if you focus on something at say 100mm, then zoom to 50mm, the image will go out of focus). At first I assumed it was a mis-aligned lens, but after having the adapter for a year, and using almost a dozen zoom lenses and three different F3 bodies, I've definitely narrowed it to the adapter. My guess is the flange depth is just slightly off in the machining of this adapter, and there's no way (that I've found) to adjust it. If you shoot with primes or only use your zoom lens as a "variable" prime, it's not a big issue. But if you do a lot of on-camera zooms, it may be better to try a different adapter.

Comments about Adaptimax Canon EF Lens Adapter for Sony PMW-F3:
Well engineered adapter. Fits all my Canon lenses very precisely. No problems at all even with some of my longer tele lenses unsupported. I have used the adapter for one month now and have already shot two shorts of gorilla's. I'm very pleased with my purchase I think the adapter will last longer than the camera!

Comments about Adaptimax Canon EF Lens Adapter for Sony PMW-F3:
This is not a bad product. Don't get my rating wrong. But for those of you out there who anticipate using this to use your cannon DSLR lenses with you Sony PMW series camera, you will be in for a surpise.
There is very little information on how a product like this works with these cameras and we realized that once we got the camera, it really only works well with marco type shots and the depth of field is so great that it's difficult to get anything useful.
Again, not a bad product, but not to be used in this mannor.

Comments about Adaptimax Canon EF Lens Adapter for Sony PMW-F3:
The title says it all, really. Using this mount, we're attaching Compact Prime lenses to the F3. And unlike some mounts we've used it the past, it attaches without any play or wiggle. It's solid, locked on. As far as mounts go, this one does its job admirably.

Comments about Adaptimax Canon EF Lens Adapter for Sony PMW-F3:
This is a great product for people like me who are transitioning from DSLRs to the Sony F3. Obviously this is a dummy mount, which means that you won't be able to change your aperture from the F3.
Until somebody finally releases an electronic EF mount or I can afford PL lenses, this will always be on my F3. It's also great because there are already a lot of other lenses that adapt to the Canon EF mount.
To adjust aperture, put the lens on a Canon body (I bought an old used Canon film body to do this). Select the aperture. Hold down the depth of field preview button and remove the lens while keeping the button pressed. The lens will keep that aperture. Make sure to put the lens back on the body and open the aperture all the way before storing away your lenses.
The mount feels really durable. The lens goes on really nice and tight, but not so much that it's an issue. The release tab/button seems to be a little loose, but it doesn't bother me.
When the lens is mounted, this adapter spins the lens slightly. What I mean is that the window with focus marks that is normally on top of the camera is rotated to the side a bit.
