Comments about KanexPro DVI with RCA Audio to HDMI Converter:
I needed a way to connect the seperate DVI and audio outputs on my Polycom HDX9004 to a 60" LCD and was really wanting to go the HDMI route. This thing works exactly as advertised and the image quality is great.

Comments about KanexPro DVI with RCA Audio to HDMI Converter:
My wife's computer graphics card didn't have HDMI out but instead had dvi and vga. I wanted to run our big screen in our living room from her computer since it has a TV tuner video capture card in it, so I needed something that would take the DVI and audio out and combine them into a high def picture so we could watch our programs. I got this little do hickee, and split my audio out with a one to two 3.5 stereo and then a 3.5 to RCA and ran the RCA audio into the box and the DVI into the same side and connected the HDMI out to my TV and then through the software from my graphics card and windows, adjust the screen to High Res and wa-la, beautiful picture and sound. Works GREAT!!!

Comments about KanexPro DVI with RCA Audio to HDMI Converter:
This small box works as advertised. I am able to take the audio and dvi video from my computer and connect it to my TV via HDMI. It defaulted to 30hz interlaced. Once changed to 60hz everything was great.
One note it does run quite hot, I'm guesing around 120-125 degrees. Not enough to burn you but hot enough you won't want to keep your hand touching it for more than a minute.
My short multiple hour test worked fine, hopefully it has the endurance to last.
