The High Resolution HDMI Cable With Built-in Signal Booster - 100' (30.5 m) from KanexPro features a built-in booster for applications that require high-performance transmission of HDMI digital video and multi-channel audio signals. This well built cable has active amplification built-in to prevent impedance mismatch, caused by the cable attenuation, dielectric losses and compensation for skin effect over long distances.
For flawless transmission, the output of the cable is placed at the end of the display to amplify full signal transmission with zero signal loss. The built-in booster does not require an external power source, since it uses the 5 volt from pin 18 on the HDMI cable extracting the power from the display. This cable is fully CL3 certified, surpassing any in-wall code requirement for residential or commercial installations.

Comments about KanexPro High Resolution HDMI Cable With Built-in Signal Booster - 100' (30.5 m):
The cable works only in one direction. Make sure you connect it the right way! Also, it has the ability to tune the impedance to maximize the quality of the signal (note, this is typically a "go" or "no go" type of tuning - either it works or it doesn't).

Comments about KanexPro High Resolution HDMI Cable With Built-in Signal Booster - 100' (30.5 m):
We've tried a few other solutions for long HDMI runs from our cameras to our ATEM 1 m/e switcher, this cable is the best and easiest. We also have a standalone signal booster from KanexPro that works great as well. the cable is very thick and heavy duty, however, after a few months of use it stopped working. BandH referred us to the manufacturer who agree to replace the cable for us, but lost track in their system and didn't ship it to us in time for us to bring it on location overseas. we are currently trying to coordinated shipping the cable to us. this price is now 25 dollars less than when we bought it, so we may just need to get a second one.

I though i needed this length haha I have so much cord left over. but the signal booster is a major plus. I have a cord without the boost and it does not produce the quality this one does. solid purchase

Comments about KanexPro High Resolution HDMI Cable With Built-in Signal Booster - 100' (30.5 m):
I used this product to connect my Sony NEX FS700 to a flat panel display in another room in the building for a live feed of an event, and it worked flawlessly.
Comes with a pot to tune the impedance of the cable. If you don't see a picture, change the setting until you do.
REMEMBER this is a ONE WAY cable!
Robust cable with lots of shielding.
People have said it is heavy. It is, but not surprisingly so based on the amount of wiring.

Comments about KanexPro High Resolution HDMI Cable With Built-in Signal Booster - 100' (30.5 m):
I've used twice, I used connect Canon HF-M41 camcoder (w/ mini HDMI adopter) onto Blackmagic ATEM 1 M/E switcher.
It works well. But the cable is very heavy because of heavy shields.
I'm always afraid if the weight of the cable would break the HDMI port.
You need to be extra careful with the weight balance.
I do recommend friends with extra care.
