Little space in the pocket, great space to carry data around. Retractable connecting head is locked when comes forth, so that it will not retreat back inside when you push it into the USB connection of your computer. That makes things just as simple as they should be. Internal space if very nice for common documents. Very good acquisition. Speed is not the greatest quality, but still a good product. THanks.

Use this to transfer files from one mac to another - works fine on MBP, MacBook, iMac 20", two mac minis, but for some reason will not mount on desktop or show up in disk utility on my iMac 27" (late 2010 model). Have a dozen or so other flash drives (including a larger 64 GB) that show up on all the macs and many other USB peripherals that work fine on the iMac 27". Tried reformatting the flash drive to FAT 32, Mac Os Extended and all the other choices but it didn't make any difference.

Comments about HP 32GB v255w USB Flash Drive:
This is a pretty affordable drive but the outer case/body of the drive in my opinion could have been built a little stronger. It has a light weight plastic feel to it that makes me think it could be more fragile than other drives I've used in the past but so far it has performed well.

The large capacity enables me to carry encrypted backup of all my critical documents with me (Dropbox backup, copies of passports, birth certificates, tax documents, etc...) and have them available at all times.
There's space even to carry movies to watch during long flights.

i have a mac book pro and an external hard drive attached to one of the 2 usb ports.
when i have to use this 32gb usb drive, i have to remove the external hard drive. the switch to toggle the usb in and out makes it too wide to fit.

Don't depend on this product. I've never had a flashdrive fail so quickly. I only lost a days work because I back things up all the time.

I run PsC5 and Lr3 on a PC and am taking classes in both at a school that uses MAC's in its labs. I shoot raw so have large files and am required to transport 200 to 400 images at a time. This Flash Drive has handled it all without a glitch.

needed to create a backup for my new computer but didn't want to mess around using discs. got this little whiz-bang instead and it did the job with room to spare. if you don't want to deal with cumbersome discs then this is the way to fly. great flash drive!
