Pelican 1455 Padded Divider Set - for Pelican 1450 Series Cases
The Pelican 1455 Padded Divider Set is a 8 piece set made to organize small and large items. The dividers are made from ballistic nylon and are padded and flexible. They have Touch Fastener on the edges that are used to attach the dividers to the tray or other dividers. This case is a replacement for the Pelican 1454 series cases and an accessory for the Pelican 1450 series cases.

This divider is very adjustable and offers almost limitless configurations. Unlike pluck-able foam inserts it can be re-adjusted whenever your needs change. I like being able to modify the liner of my Pelican box for different needs each time I go out. the only con is that it doesn't contain small items well. I would certaily recomend this to others.

Can't beat Pelican.Rough and tough . I go up in moutins to take photos this cast works well to protect my gear. It also works cold to warm condisation.

I have had my 1450 case for a long time, more than 15 years. I had always just used the foam until it just fell apart. This divider system is just so much more organised and faster to use. Should have bought it years ago.

When I originally purchased a Pelican Dry box I got the foam inserts. I found them to be ok until I needed to add more lenses to my collection with in the Pelican Box. So I ordered the Dividers and I am much happier now with out the foam insert.

I wasn't happy with the foam insert that came with my 1450 Pelican box so I opted to try out the padded divider. I am much happier with it as it give me much better flexibility to move around my camera gear and pad my lenses.

With my new DSLR purchase and the aquisition of more gear I have already been through several Pelican cases. I started with a 1400 and the pluck foam, then went to the 1450 with the pluck foam. After purchasing a flash and macro lens I decided the foam wasn't suitable for my growing gear. Replacing the foam each time I get new gear is not cost effective.
The padded divider is great for those who change their mind or add gear. I did add some extra foam under the lenses to make them fit tighter. My only complaint about the divider set is that the long dividers dictate how the case is set up.

I actually use this in a tactical tailor medic bag, not a pelican case, but it works wonderfully, it's very rugged, nice amount of padding, keeps my gear safe.
