No bigger than an average paperback and weighing in at only 1.4 pounds, Vivitek’s Qumi (pronounced “Q-me”) Pocket Projector is an ideal choice when you want to share digital content for work or for play.

Definitely one of the sleekest projectors in the Pico or Pocket categories, the Qumi backs it up with 300 lumens of brightness, a 30,000 hour LED lamp and a 16:10 aspect ratio with 1280 x 800 resolution, which is a perfect match for today’s widescreen laptops.

Vivitek has stressed style, utility and flexibility at every stage of fabrication. The Qumi’s wide connectivity includes HDMI and a 3.5 mm video input. The Qumi’s 1W speaker is especially handy for on-the fly presentations, gaming or screening JPEG slide shows. Just plug in the Qumi’s 100 – 240V AC power supply anywhere in the world.

While your laptop will probably be your information and entertainment source most of the time, why not capitalize on the Qumi’s portability by going computer-less via the projector’s USB port or SD card slot?

Last, but most definitely not least, is that fact that your projector is 3D ready thanks to Texas Instrument’s DLP Link. All you’ll need is a computer with the appropriate software, 3D content and glasses and you’re on your way.

The Qumi comes with a power adapter, 4 connector cables, remote control and a convenient carrying case.

Comments about Vivitek Qumi LED Pocket Projector (White):

loved the size and expected longevity, but wasted my money due to its weak lumens. I've only used it once and my audience could not see the image projected. I would highly recommend opting for minimum of 1,000 lumen output

Comments about Vivitek Qumi LED Pocket Projector (White):

Before i buy this one i bought another PICO projector Optoma PK201 for my brother. He took that one everywhere with him and show us a movies or photos instantly. I was feeling very excitement and take a decision to buy one for me. And i buy Vivitek Qumi2 HD one. It has very good color rendition in most of its modes and provides a sharp image across the wall or screen with all resolutions. But unfortunately it has no battery system. So you have to use must AC power supply. That means you have to be in the home or in school or in office. It is not suitable for outside. You have to carry all time AC adapter which vivitek provide with it. Anyway the Vivitek QUMI provides a very bright and sharp image for its size, combined with a good price and a 30,000 hour LED light source. Very strong build this unit. But remote controller is very annoying. There is not power on/off or standby button on it which is very essential for a remote. Focus ring is very hard. It should be soft as we need to use always this button. All the cables vivitek provided with it are not in fact usable because they are very short. Fan noise increases in Eco mode which is also very annoying. 3d setup is bit critical via DLP link. 1 watt mono speaker which is in this unit is not enough for medium size room. But there is a 3.5mm audio output by which you can use your home speaker system. But anyway the Qumi Q2 offers a nice combination of features in a very compact projector and you can enjoy a big screen movie in your home or office very much because of its good resolution and good brightness.

I´ve purchase Qumi to work. And it is exactily what they promisse: easy to go, usefull, good sharp and bright. Unfortunatelly it stopped to work few minutes after I started to use and the instructions manual is poor. I have a good opinion about it, but a little bit affraid.

Comments about Vivitek Qumi LED Pocket Projector (White):

This little projector is all that and more. I bought this projector to be used for an occasional movie night but have since decided to permanently mount it for everyday use. The picture quality is amazing and I am projecting onto a 100"+ screen. The small size makes it ideal to take along for a portable movie night as well. The only drawback that I have found so far is the sound quality from the small 1 Watt built in speaker but it really isn't a problem to just run the audio through an amp or a set of computer speakers. The colors produced by this little projector are very vibrant and rich. A great buy for anyone looking to get into this type of projector.
