The Beach Diving Straps with Stainless Steel for Tray System (Black) from Beneath the Surface are connecting straps for use with Beneath the Surface's tray systems for digital cameras. They can be used with non-BTS trays via the optional Adapter Strap #BS-ADPT-Y/B/P. Risers, the pieces that connect the arm adapters to the bridge bar, have a hole drilled in them that allows the diving straps to connect to the camera tray for easy entry through the surf.

As much of my diving is centred around my photography I will have my camera 90% of the time. About 60% of my diving is from the shore. Boat diving where I live often involves diving from boats dropping me into a current so handing off gear after entry is problematic. This product promised to provide a very reliable and simple way to secure some very expensive equipment and it delivered on all counts. Fully adjustable, well made, simple to operate and it safely secures a full photo rig out of harms way and frees my hands for entry to the water. Once in the water its easy to free up the rig for use and to clip back on again for my exit. Does what it says on the tin!
