The WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution InFocus IN116 Mobile DLP Projector is a lightweight and compact workhorse that can pump out 2700 lumens of brightness at a 3000:1 contrast ratio on a continuous 24/7 duty cycle. It weighs about five pounds (2.2kg) and its footprint is about the size of a sheet of US letter paper.
Thanks to its 0.65" DLP DMD imaging panel (the part that forms the image) it can crank out vivid, true-to-life pictures and they can be in the NTSC, PAL or SECAM video systems or the full gamut of high definition HD formats including 720p, 1080i and 1080p.
Not only does the TI DLP DMD account for the IN116's vibrant colors, it's a money saver too. DLP-based systems require no filters that have to be periodically cleaned and replaced, saving you time and money.
But switch into economical mode and the savings really soar. Lamp life increases from 5000 hours to 6000 hours while brightness dims by only 20 percent. In standby mode this projector draws less than a single watt.
Whether you have a house full of serious TV addicts or a commercial or industrial application that requires a projector with the utmost of durability, you should seriously consider the IN116.

Comments about InFocus IN116 Mobile DLP Projector:
I bought the infocus for the use in our training, seminars and activities with the Alliance Womens Ministrys.
Every thing projected looks so good, light weight and the price... well swept me off my feet.

Comments about InFocus IN116 Mobile DLP Projector:
I bought this projector for watching movies at home. It is a versatile device and has a lot of nice features and controls. And it is certainly quite bright, making it comfortable to watch movies during the day with just lowering the window shades. It is also rather quiet. Very good for the price.
One thing that is not good about this projector is that you can see the pixel boundaries too much. I have had DLP projectors in the past and their pictures are very smooth. This one looks more like LCD. If I knew this problem before I bought the unit, I would not have purchased it.

Comments about InFocus IN116 Mobile DLP Projector:
We use these in tandem for our main worship set up at church.
We like the 16:9 aspect ration, as we are projecting in native HD widescreen.
They are fairly bright, controls are intuitive, and adjust easily enough.
It would be nice if the zoom had more adjustment - making placement and set up a little easier / more flexible.

Comments about InFocus IN116 Mobile DLP Projector:
Small and compact with a nice picture! My only complaint would be that this thing gets HOT! It has overheated on me before but it has an auto shut down to not compromise the system, which is fine but it overheated quickly. You need a large and cool room perhaps with a fan in it for this not to happen or to not break a sweat yourself because of the radiant heat. It's nice and compact and has high resolution and brightness with a large image size to boot. I would recommend this to a friend with noted warnings
