The High Power Wireless 300N Smart Repeater from Amped Wireless will extend the range of your 802.11b/g/n wireless network by repeating the signal from your home or office wireless router and redistributing it in a new extended location.
The device uses advanced Wi-Fi amplifiers to boost wireless reception and performance. The boosted performance is then optimally tuned and paired with a high gain 3dBi Wi-Fi antenna for maximum range.
The device allows users to add up to five additional wired ports for connecting PCs, AV devices such as Internet enabled televisions, Blu-ray players, game consoles and much more. While it eliminates wireless dead zones and extends wireless and wired network coverage throughout your home or office and is compatible with most brands and models of 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi routers and access points.

I live in an apartment which is all wireless through my landlord's router downstairs. When I use my laptop, phone, or PlayStation on the other end of the house, the signal is awful.
This smart repeater more than tripled my range, plus I can connect many devices.
The signal on the PlayStation went from 30% to 100%.
Its really easy to set up too. Just connect to it on your computer through the provided Ethernet cord and then run a setup wizard. It took me 5 minutes if that. A great product and not too pricey either.

Purchased two of these .. the 150N model and the 300 model for X-MAS presents. They shipped with old firmware which doesn't even work properly. The WPS quick push button configuration didn't work. Neither did using the WP key. Updated the firmware and product worked for about 1 hr. Loses it settings to the bridged network. Called Tech Support, left message for them to call me back. They never called -- typical US support. You have to be technical enough to make all the keys work.. THeir HTML developers for their admin site are terrible. Doesn't support IE8 or IE9 properly -- had to download Chrome for admin to work. Piece of junk product.

I followed the step by step instructions and had the smart repeater working in no time. I was very impressed in the way it picked-up the router which was across a parking lot in another building and rebroadcast the signal through out the building. I would definitely purchase it again.

I use the Repeater by Amped Wireless to extend my current wireless network. This is the second one that I have tried since the first, which will remain nameless, was difficult to setup and then after use for a couple of weeks, prevented Internet use. This was simple to setup and is working great.

My Motorola 6580 Cable modem was weak in the far reaches of my house where my office is located. The reapeater helped speed up internet conection and LAN conected printer/scaner. It took me 4 hours to set up because the 2 lap tops and printer were not getting on the LAN through the Amped Repeater. Call to Tech Suport was a waste of time. By booting up the modem and then the repeater I stumbled on to the solution. All is well but suport is not very good.

I need a stronger signal in my barn for WI-FI on cell phone and laptops - I was only getting 1-2 bars by the door. Now I am getting max bars in the barn for almost 80% of a 30' X 50' area indoors, a much needed improvement. Router (they call a repeater) was easy to set up and is password protected. The router is very light and can fall over easy if bumped.

Setup was super easy. I took about 10 minutes total from opening the box to extending my network.
I placed the extender where i normaly get a minimal signal, turned it on. Picked my Network to extend, and clicked next. After the extender rebooted i instantly was able to connect and use internet everywhere in the house as well as outside. Something i could never do before. The kids can now do research from anywhere making my living room a lot less crowded.
