The Wireless 150N Compact USB Adapter from Amped Wireless is an exceedingly easy way to add wireless connectivity to your desktop or laptop computer. This adapter fits into the USB port of your computer and supports Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n signals via the 2.4GHz band. The adapter relies upon a built-in amplifier and a 3dBi antenna to give you a sizeable Wi-Fi range. In addition, that antenna can be detached in case you want to connect a more powerful antenna for an even greater range of coverage. Compatible with Windows and Mac computers, this adapter is easy to setup, easy to use, and capable of bringing you pure, Wi-Fi satisfaction.

I got this because I have a Mac Mini and the internal air port's terrible. At first my computer was set up right next to the wifi and it was fine, but when I moved it 30 feet away, it started constantly dropping the internet, and it was maddening. After months of struggling to download anything and not being able to watch internet videos, I found this antenna. It was sort of difficult to get set up, I think it had some issues with my slightly older OS, but my friend who is better with computers took over for me and managed to get it working in about five minutes. With the antenna, my connection is back to being functional and it saved me the cost of a new computer.

This device works perfectly. It took a little setup out of the box, I found it necessary to download the latest driver from the manufacturer's website, (simple) and it works great. I can see many more networks than before, probably 50% more, and I have full signal strength to my own router about 30 feet away through two walls. Very pleased with this purchase.
