The NEC V462-AVT 46" Professional Grade LCD with AV Inputs & Digital Tuner features a built-in expansion slot that allows for seamless integration of NEC accessories, third-party components and Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) products.
It has a color TFT active matrix and offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080, brightness of 500 cd/m², and high contrast ratio of 3500:1. With a 1080p resolution, 8ms response time, and viewing angle of 178° (H/V), the monitor provides high-quality pictures at almost any height. Capable of displaying videos, internet pages, PowerPoint and Flash files, the monitor is ideal for use in educational, retail, public and commercial signage applications.
The V462-AVT display is ideal for use in applications that require extended use, including retail and restaurant markets, or locations that include indoor venues, training facilities and corporate boardrooms.
Equipped with a screensaver, the monitor prevents image sticking due to prolonged display of a static image. It has a 0.6" (15.5mm) slim bezel and can be used in a 10 x 10 video wall display. Using the scheduler with real-time clock feature, you can program the on/off timings of the V462-AVT Professional Grade Large Screen Display. Using the remote and Kensington lock, you can prevent unauthorized tampering of the monitor's settings.
A protective screen protects it from scratches. The V462-AVT is equipped with built-in speakers and can be installed on a stand or on a wall via a VESA wall mount. Equipped with VGA and DVI inputs/outputs, the monitor can be daisy-chained to multiple displays, and each display can be controlled individually via RS-232.

We use this display in breakout rooms around our campus for mainly students to use when they gather in the rooms. Variety of input connections to allow flexibility of devices to connect to the display. This particular model we purchased for displaying videos and slideshows at varied events. There are many different accessories that are designed for this model that make the presentation look professional. We have the side speakers and feet that we bought to put on a table. We have also ordered a portable cart to ehance the mobility of the display. The display can be on for hours and doesn't get too hot and the image quality is great. We now have 18 of these on our campus and plan to continue purchasing more of these when needed in the future.
