The 5-15mm f/2.8-4.5 Zoom Lens for Q Mount Cameras from Pentax is an ideal everyday lens for the Pentax Q camera. A 3x telephoto with focal length equivalent to 27.5-83mm in 35mm format, this lightweight, compact lens covers the range from a moderate wide-angle to a short telephoto. The f/2.8-4.5 maximum aperture is wide enough to capture images in low-light situations, and the built-in neutral density (ND) filter gives you a selectable 2-stop light reduction for greater flexibility in creative exposure. The built-in lens shutter will sync with the camera's built-in flash at up to 1/2000s. The 5-15mm lens will focus as close as 11.8".

Comments about Pentax 5-15mm f/2.8-4.5 Zoom Lens for Q Mount Cameras:
The 5-15mm lens is average in all ways, it acts like a typical kit lens. The good news is the variable focal length is good and allows for framing the shot. I could say that this is the only lens that is zoom'able. But I see they just added the 15-45mm lens to the franchise. The only odd thing about the lens is that when it is fully retracted it is 15mm. To get to 5mm the lens extends out. That is not good or bad, but definately different.
Focus speed is average and it is quiet. Focus accuracy is 95% or better in my experience which is, again, average. There really isn't much to say aside from the focal range is needed and it is the only kid on the block for this mount at current time. Worth the money, but I believe the price could come down to match other kit lenses. This lens offers nothing special to make it higher than other kit lenses which take more material and glass to make.
