The Custom SLR Camera Split Strap is a replacement for camera straps. The ends are fully adjustable in length and complement the C-Loop. American-designed, the strap works with traditional camera strap mounting points and comes with 2 pairs of adjustable-length ends. The split strap distributes weight evenly to reduce pain and fatigue and provides superior ventilation to keep you cool while you shoot. Its ergonomic design conforms to your shoulder for comfort. The swiveling quick release buckles rotate for maximum flexibility, reducing strap tension, and also detach for increased mobility. The strap's silicone print helps reduce slippage.

This only has 1 problem: the padding is a bit short. Not that it is too short, its just that I kinda wish it was longer so that I could wear it in different ways.
Other than that this strap is fantastic. I really cant stress that enough. The fact that it comes with 2 lengths is incredible (although the longer strap goes really really long) since it basically means that if you use 2 cameras you can just switch the foam from one to the other.
Very comfortable, really rugged, discreet (I sharpied the white logo); what else could you want form a camera strap?

I attached this strap to my camera and when I have it around my neck, it feels so much better than the original strap. The only other thing I recommend getting along with this strap is the clip that attaches to the bottom of your camera (rather that the top) to create a more "sling-style" camera strap.

I use this with my DSLR and finally my neck doesn't hurt!!!! It is so comfortable that you do not feel the camera weight at all. I ordered a second one and the c-loop for my other camera. I also ordered the new Ultrafit Sling Strap for women strap and it was so uncomfortable and short and returned it and got the Camera Split Strap instead. This is the strap that should come with every DSLR.

My Cannon Eos 7d, is heavy, the cannon strap, itches and makes me sweat.
This camera strap is wonderful, has a hole along the neck length for air, is made ( neck) of a wonderful springy material...

So far I am very pleased with this strap. One of the things that bothered me about other straps I have used was they tended to slip off my shoulder. This one has a Silicone print on the side that rests on your shoulder and keeps the strap from slipping. So far I love it.

Very comfortable strap, I'm using it with C-Loop. use with 5dmk2 and 24-105 4L on a 12 hour day trip to NYC, no problems, wide strap really distributes weight well. Not too sure if the split actually helps with ventilation, but very comfortable. I used it over my shoulder most of the day, as I found it was a little more comfortable than around my neck, personal pref I guess.

I usually throw a camera strap over my shoulder, rather than around my neck. This leaves the OEM straps with a loose end that rubs my forearm. The split strap solves this problem beautifully, as well as giving the option for shorter straps.

The Custom SLR Camera Split Strap came in 'user friendly' packaging. (Did not need a chainsaw to remove). Right out of the package the Split Strap was simple to assemble and a dream come true in the using! Since I am getting older and my camera gear isn't getting any lighter, the Split Strap is a huge improvement over others I have used in taking the pressure of gear weight off my neck! I would absolutely buy this product again and recommend it to everyone needing greater comfort in 'wearing' their SLR cameras around the neck or over the shoulder.
